Patent number: 8228026Abstract: Inductively coupled shelving units and storage containers with integrated primary coils, as well as inductively coupled systems for storing and charging tools, are provided. Power is inductively coupled from a primary coil to a device containing a secondary coil. Primary coils may be integrated into a shelving unit to charge devices stored on the shelving unit. Primary coils may similarly be integrated into a storage container. Inductively coupled shelving units may also be configured to receive and hold an inductively coupled storage container such as a toolbox. An integrated secondary coil in the toolbox receives power inductively coupled from a primary coil in a shelving unit. Integrated primary coils in the toolbox then inductively couple the received power to secondary coils in individual devices. Integrated primary coils may provide varying amounts of power.Type: GrantFiled: February 24, 2009Date of Patent: July 24, 2012Assignee: L & P Property Management CompanyInventors: LeRoy Johnson, Caleb Browning

Patent number: 8230221Abstract: A method and a Mobile Node are provided for authenticating an Advertisement message received from an Access Router through an Access Point. The Advertisement message comprises a Hashed Nonce Value and a Nonce Index corresponding to a Nonce Value held in the Access Router. Upon receiving the Advertisement message from the Access Point, the Mobile Node initiates a process for configuring an IP address, by use of information received in the Advertisement, for having a session with the Access Point and the Access Router. In parallel, either the Access Point or the Mobile Node sends the Nonce Index directly to the Access Router. The Access Router replies with the Nonce Value sent to the Mobile Node. The Mobile Node hashes the Nonce Value received from the Access Router and compares a Result of the hashing with the Hashed Nonce Value. If the Result matches the Hashed Nonce Value, the Advertisement is considered authenticated and the IP address configured according to the Advertisement is kept in the Mobile Node.Type: GrantFiled: July 28, 2006Date of Patent: July 24, 2012Assignee: Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson (Publ)Inventors: Wassim Haddad, Suresh Krishnan

Publication number: 20120182973Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods and apparatuses that allow for channelisation code allocation adapted for uplink MIMO transmissions. A method for use in a user equipment of a telecommunication system comprises spreading data symbols of a plurality of streams to be transmitted from the user equipment as MIMO transmissions. The step of spreading the data symbols comprises allocating, for each stream, at least one channelisation code (62) to be applied for spreading the data symbols of the stream. The plurality of streams are allocated channelisation codes (62) from a predefined code tree (61) of applicable channelisation codes such that any channelisation code (62) is allocated to more than one stream only if there is no applicable channelisation code left in the code tree (61) which currently is not allocated for any stream. The channelisation code allocation scheme makes it possible to avoid inter-stream interference in many scenarios of uplink MIMO transmissions.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 30, 2011Publication date: July 19, 2012Applicant: TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET L M ERICSSON (PUBL)Inventors: Jinhua Liu, Qingyu Miao, Johan Hultell, Johan Bergman
