Abstract: Spring cushions (10) having slow-acting pocketed spring cores (12) characterized by the individual springs of the cores (12) being pocketed within semi-impermeable fabric material and a method of making such pocketed spring cores (12). Fill material, such as pieces, strands or elements of foam or fiber is located inside at least some of the pocketed springs to reduce noise.
Abstract: Methods and arrangements for adjusting timing of transmissions in a radio communication system in which aggregation of component carriers is employed are disclosed. A base station sends a first TA command applicable to a first component carrier to a user equipment. A need to maintain different uplink transmission timing for the first user equipment component carrier and second uplink component carrier is detected by the base station. The base station then sends a second TA command based on the detected need to maintain different uplink transmission timing. The second TA command is applicable to uplink transmissions on the first component carrier and/or the second component carrier. The user equipment adjusts uplink transmissions on the first component carrier and/or the second uplink component carrier based on the second timing advance command.

Abstract: A GTPv2 node for an E-UTRAN or a GERAN/UTRAN access system, arranged to comprise in a session related signaling message to a peer GTPv2 node information in an information element which indicates that the GTPv2 node supports a certain feature which is identified in the information element. The information element also indicates to the peer GTPv2 node that the peer GTPv2 node should indicate information about its own support or non-support for the feature in the information element in a session related signaling message which is sent as a result of the session related signaling message from the GTPv2 node, as well as including information about the GTPv2 node's support for the feature.

Abstract: A method of handling mobility of a sender in a multicast packet sending scenario. The method comprises firstly establishing a multicast tree across a packet data network and transmitting multicast packets from the sender to a plurality of receivers via said multicast tree. Prior to a mobility event in respect of said sender, a suitable transfer anchor node is identified within said network, and the tree re-rooted to that transfer anchor node. Subsequently, multicast packets are transmitted from said sender to said transfer anchor node and injected into the multicast tree at said transfer anchor node. Following said mobility event, said sender continues to send multicast packets to said transfer anchor node for injection into the multicast tree.

Abstract: A microparticle includes an oblong flexible tail able to propel the microparticle in a solution along a trajectory using beats transverse to the trajectory, the tail including at least one magnetic element such that the magnetic element causes beats of the tail under the action of an external alternating magnetic field non-collinear with the trajectory and a head mechanically connected to a proximal end of the tail. The microparticle includes at least one layer of material formed from one piece and including the tail and the head, the dimensions and/or shape of the head being selected such that the beats of the proximal end of the tail are limited with respect to the beats of the distal end of the tail and such that the head does not perform a complete revolution around an axis parallel to the trajectory under the effect of the external alternating magnetic field.

Abstract: A support system comprises a hub comprising a channel, a leg comprising a finger that slideably engages the channel, and a washer that prevents the finger from disengaging the channel, wherein a multi-dimensional force is exerted that tightens the connection therebetween when the hub, the leg, and the washer are connected together. A method of connecting a support system for an article of furniture comprises inserting a finger of a leg into a channel of a hub to form a mating connection therebetween, connecting a washer to the hub to maintain the finger within the channel, and exerting a multi-dimensional force to secure the leg to the hub.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for informing a network node of a wireless communication network of the presence of logged measurements are disclosed. A first mobile station performs measurements concerning one or more connectivity aspects for the first mobile station in relation to the wireless communication network and stores the measurements in an internal log, where the measurements are performed according to a reporting configuration for the first mobile station. The first mobile station then sends a notification to the first network node regarding the presence of logged measurements in order to enable the first network node to respond to the notification with a request for a logged measurement report.

Abstract: In methods and devices GNSS reception quality can be used to determine the maximum output power of a Home UE, i.e. a UE served by home base station and is based on the insight that GNSS reception quality may be used for estimation of the interference caused by transmissions of an HUE on an existing network. The power of the HUE need be restricted to keep interference within limit. The estimation of the interference, and the determination of the HUE maximum output power, is based on the GNSS reception quality in the HUE, or the GNSS reception quality in the HBS or on a combination of the GNSS reception in the HUE and the HBS. In one embodiment a combined metric based on the GNSS reception quality and one or more cellular radio measurement is used to determine the maximum output power of the HUE. The GNSS reception quality measurements and the cellular measurements used for deriving the combined metric can be performed in the HUE and/or in the HBS or in both.

Abstract: A system for restricting Machine-to-Machine devices from accessing system resources in a 3GPP compliant network without adversely affecting the access of human operated devices makes use of a new network function that instructs all devices that are internally identified as M2M devices to block access. As such, M2M and H2H devices can be assigned to the same access classes, as presently required, but need not be access barred under the same circumstances.

Abstract: The invention applies to a pointing device of a mobile element, for example a cursor, on a plane surface. The pointing device comprises a first sensor for measuring the angular rates of the device and a second sensor of the linear accelerations along three dimensions of said device. Preferably, the first sensor is a two-axis or three-axis gyrometer and the second sensor is a three-axis accelerometer. The invention makes it possible to render the movements of the mobile element in the surface of the orientation in which the pointing device is held by its user. This result is achieved by global resolution of the angles of torsion by combining the measurements of the first and second sensors either within an extended Kalman filter or by application of an optimization criterion.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for establishing a communication session in an IMS Centralized Services communication network. A Service Centralization and Continuity Application Server (SCC AS) receives a request from an originating device to establish a session with a target device. The request includes a plurality of codec identifiers that could be used by the originating device. The SCC AS sends a second request to establish the session to the target device. The SCC AS subsequently receives, from an intermediate node between the SCC AS and the target device, an invite message. The invite message includes an indication that a codec identifier has been selected from the plurality of codec identifiers. The SCC AS then sends a message to the intermediate node instructing the intermediate node to establish the session.
