Abstract: A network equipment for a communication between a network and a computer is provided. The network equipment includes a network adapter for transmitting a network signal from Internet via a conducting line and a wireless transmitting device for wirelessly transmitting the network signal to a plurality of computers via the conducting line, wherein the network adapter includes an adapter body, a receptacle portion disposed on the adapter body, and a plug to be inserted into a socket to transfer the network signal to the conducting line. The wireless transmitting device includes a device body and a lamp base connector connected with the device body, detachably and electrically connected with a bulb socket and wirelessly transmitting the network signal to the plurality of computers via the conducting line.
Abstract: A fixing mechanism for fixing a disc drive and a locking device thereof solves the inconvenience involved in fixing and disassembling the disc drive. The disc drive has at least one a pair of protrusions located at side walls of the disc drive. The fixing mechanism includes a fixing frame and a locking device. The fixing frame has a pair of assembling walls and at least one receiving space is used for receiving the disc drive. One of the assembling walls has a pair of assembling boards protruding outward and an open sliding slot. The protrusions are slidably installed in the sliding slot. The locking device includes a base part and a locking arm. Two sides of the base part are assembled to the assembling boards. A locking hole formed at the free end of the locking arm correspondingly locks one of the protrusions of the disc drive.
Abstract: Disclosed is an electronic focusing device and method for a camera. A stick handle made of a radial magnetization magnet is provided for focus adjustment. One or two current-induced magnetization bodies are provided and one of which receives a current signal to provide a magnetic force. Through the magnetic force, the stick handle is caused to move, achieving the result of focus adjustment of the camera. In another embodiment, a piezo-electric device is connected to a friction member so as to move the stick handle contacted with the friction member in response to an applied voltage signal, also achieving the focus adjustment effect of the camera.
Abstract: A retaining modular mechanism for a hard disk and a modular frame thereof simplifies the conventional process of locking and unlocking a hard disk and reduces assembly time. Fixing holes are applied on two sides of a hard disk that includes a receiving housing and a modular frame. The receiving housing has a bottom board and a side board. The modular frame has a base positioned on the bottom board, a locking part and an elastic element positioned between the base and a locking part. The locking part has a bottom wall slidably mounted on the base, and a sidewall positioned on the side board of the receiving housing. The base has a fixing sidewall opposite the sidewall of the locking part. The fixing sidewall and the sidewall of the locking part are respectively formed with a plurality of fixing pins. The fixing pins insert into the fixing holes.
Abstract: A reflection-type optoelectronic semiconductor device has an LED chip disposed on a first conducting wire portion, a second conducting wire portion connected to the LED chip via a connection wire, a packaging body for sealing the LED chip and part of the first conducting wire portion and the second conducting wire portion, a reflecting face disposed in an opposite direction of a light emission face of the LED chip and surrounding the packaging body, and an optical spectrum conversion layer coated onto the packaging body. A primary light emitted by the LED chip is reflected to the optical spectrum conversion layer by the reflecting face to undergo light excitation for producing a secondary light. The primary light and the secondary light are combined to generate a mixed light. A lens can be placed in the travel direction of the mixed light to change the distribution of the mixed light.
Abstract: A paper tray mechanism that is applicable to machines with paper trays, such as printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines, all-in-one multifunction center and the like, comprises an input paper tray, an output paper tray, where both trays are movable and attached to the machine at sides, and an interconnecting mechanism therein between the two trays. When one paper tray is moved by the user, due to the interconnecting mechanism therein between, another paper tray will automatically move simultaneously. Therefore, this invention provides a paper mechanism that only needs one simple and easy step to have both paper trays unfolded/folded and unstashed/stashed so that some spaces are saved for other usage and machine is compact enough to be repacked into the original box.
Abstract: A paper pickup mechanism mounted in a feeder includes several driving gears, connecting rods, a pickup roller and a twist restricting gear. By means of the twist restricting gear, the paper pickup mechanism provides an equal pickup force under different paper loads. Furthermore, the operational precision of the pickup roller is improved via relative motion with the twist restricting gear.

Abstract: An optical scanner includes a first reference white board and a second reference white board perpendicular to two sides of a glass window that holds an object to be scanned. When the optical scanner is powered on, the optical module scans the first reference white board and the second reference white board to obtain data of image quality test and brightness variations in Y direction first, and through software compensation and correction, to obtain a normal digital image data thereby to achieve rapid preview and scanning.
