Abstract: The present invention provides a scanning device including a lamp, an object, and a transparency (or a reflector). The present invention changes the optical path by varying the shape of tube wall of lamp, the transparency or the reflector to compensate the light in the boundary regions of the lamp. Moreover, the present invention is capable of reducing the dimension of the scanning device.
Abstract: A light-emitting diode (LED) component includes a light-emitting chip for emitting luminescent light, and a phosphor for absorbing first luminescent light of the luminescent light and emitting first emission, the first luminescent light having a first wavelength different from that of the first emission, the phosphor having a chemical formula of (Ca1-x-yEuxMy)Se where x is not equal to zero, y is between zero and one, and M is composed of at least one element selected from a group consisting of Be, Mg, Sr, Ba, and Zn.

Abstract: A keyboard with keycode page switching ability has at least one page switch key. The page switch key is operated to select one keycode page for the keyboard. A driver program of a computer connected to the keyboard will send a switching command to switch a keycode page for the keyboard after the page switch key is pressed. Therefore, user can select keycode page for the keyboard to expand the function of the keyboard.
Abstract: A carriage module for scanner comprises a case, an image sensor, a mirror set and a lens set. The image sensor, the mirror set and the lens set are arranged in the case and used to guide a reflected light from a document to be scanned as well as convert the reflected light to an electrical counterpart. The case composed of a first shell and a second shell with a larger length than that of the first shell. The second shell is movably arranged in the first shell and can be moved along a horizontal direction.
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for determining output signals according to pressure and depressing time mainly includes a timer, a scanner and a keyboard connecting electronically to the timer and the scanner. The keyboard has a plurality of button keys. When in use, the timer is set to zero and stops counting time. Then the scanner scans the keyboard to locate the button key being depressed by an external force. A signal is output depending on the external force. A first signal is output when the external force is small. When the external force is large and the time counted by the timer does not exceed a selected time period, the first signal is output. When the time counted by the timer exceeds the selected time period, a second signal is output. Thus input information may be entered through fewer button keys, and injury that might otherwise occur by using composite keys may be avoided.
Abstract: An infrared transceiver module for enabling a multiple direction infrared communication includes a transfer element for enlarging the working angles of infrared emission and reception of a transmitter and receiver portion. The transfer element has a surface area larger than the surface area of the transmitter and receiver portion. Infrared signal beam transmitting from the transmitter and receiver portion is repeatedly refracted by said transfer element and transmitted in multiple directions from the transfer element. Exterior signal beams coming to any portion of the transfer element are also repeatedly refracted by said transfer element and received by said transmitter and receiver portion. Therefore, a multiple direction infrared transmission and reception is obtained.
Abstract: A roller mechanism for separating paper has a fusing roller, a following roller, and at least two paper-separating rings. The fusing roller is formed with at least two annular grooves on a periphery thereof. The two paper-separating rings are respectively mounted in the annular grooves correspondingly. The following roller is contiguous to the fusing roller for heating a paper therebetween and transporting out the paper smoothly.
Abstract: A wireless signal receiving device with prompt wake-up function is disclosed for receiving serial data transmitted from computer peripherals. The device includes a RF signal receiving module, a bridge module and a USB module, which can operate in normal mode, first idle mode, second idle mode or search mode. When the device is in the first idle mode, it still receives serial data normally. When the device is in the second idle mode, the device can change to the search mode periodically to search whether there is new transmitted data. The main drawback of not being promptly waken up when the conventional wireless signal receiving device is in idle mode is improved through the disclosed device and the two idle modes.
Abstract: A positioning structure of plane image input apparatus comprises a hollow body, carrying scanned documents and setting a correct picture on outer and inner opposite sides, and an optical module inside the body moving back and forth. The optical module has a correct light source to emit light, a correct hole for reflect light passing through and propagating to the optical module, a guiding mirror set to guide light, and a charge couple device to receive light. The correct light source and the correct hole are respect to the correct picture side of the body. After reflected by the correct picture, light passes the correct hole, to the optical module and is guided by the guiding mirror set to the charge couple device for the optical module to correct color rank and to position. Thus, the positioning structure improves accuracy of correcting color rank and positioning of the correct picture.
Abstract: An apparatus for reducing start-up time uses an auxiliary light source and method for the same are proposed. The auxiliary light source has relatively short start-up time to compensate a cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) with long start-up time. The auxiliary light source is a light emitting device and simultaneously turned on with the CCFL. The light-emitting device is turned off when the output light of the CCFL is stable. Therefore, the light-emitting device with the CCFL can provide stable light source for scanner.
Abstract: A multiple-function projecting apparatus comprises a processor unit being a controller of the projecting apparatus and having built-in operation system and application programs and a plurality of interfaces. The interfaces includes an audio I/O interface, a wireless communication interface for wireless connection to wireless accessing point, a wired communication interface for wired connection to wired accessing point, an expansion memory interface for data storage and accessing, a display driver interface used to output an image from the processor unit, and a display unit connected to the display driver interface and used to display the image.
Abstract: An ergonomic mouse provides comfortable holding by user's palm and convenient operation by user's finger. The ergonomic mouse comprises a mouse body, a holding stick and a button member. The holding stick comprises an abutting section and a bottom pivotally assembled to a top portion of the mouse body to expose the abutting section out of the top portion. The button member is pivotally connected to a finger operation position at front end of the mouse body. The holding stick and the button member can be pivotally inclined to provide comfortable and convenient operation for user.
Abstract: A locking method and device applicable to lock a linearly retractable device includes a locking plate in a first direction and a second direction perpendicular to each other. In the first direction, the locking plate is movable in a release position and a safety position. In the second element, the locking plate is movable in a latched and an unlatched position. When the locking plate is in the safety position, it is unmovable from the latched position to the unlatched position so as to prevent any unintentional force to release the lock.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a driving device for a scanning module. An active gear wheel and a passive gear wheel are disposed respectively on two rigid frames. These two rigid frames are connected by a rigid component to avoid relative displacement between the two wheels due to external force or change of temperature. The rigid component of the present invention may also be adopted as a guiding track for the scanning module.
Abstract: A wireless communication apparatus with built-in terminal hub for transmitting a wireless signal includes a PCB, built-in antenna module and input terminal hub. The built-in antenna module disposed on the PCB transmits the wireless signal and the input terminal hub coupled with the PCB connects the computer. It avoids bringing the surrounding electromagnetic interference (EMI) and disorder. Besides, the built-in antenna module makes the whole size smaller and easy to carry. The wireless communication apparatus further provides an extended output terminal hub for connecting other peripheral device.
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a white light source includes steps of providing an ultra-violet light as a radiation source, preparing three kinds of first phosphors each receiving the ultra-violet light and emitting the light of red, green and blue, respectively, and preparing at least one additional second phosphor to modify a spectral property of the light emitted by the three first phosphors in order to improve the brightness and color rendering property of the white light source. Moreover, at least one phosphor with the fluorescent property is used as the above second phosphor powder to obtain a color-changeable light source.

Abstract: A print head for use in a wire dot printer has a plurality of wires, an armature connected to each of the wires, a core of a magnetic circuit which is disposed in opposing relation to the armature, a resilient member for biasing the armature in a direction in which it is separated from the core, and a rear case disposed so as to cover the upper side of the armature. Each of the wires is driven by the action of the armature which is attracted toward the core when a coil wound on the core is energized. The print head is provided with an armature guide having a resilient stopper disposed between each armature and the rear case to support the armature against the biasing force from the resilient member. Thus, it is possible to support each armature inserted into the armature guide by means of the stopper even more stably during an assembling step carried out before the rear case is mounted. Accordingly, the assembling operation is simplified and facilitated.
