  • Patent number: 10981066
Abstract: Described herein is a system and method for valuing third-party generated content within a video game environment. Third-party generated content (e.g., a persona item for a virtual character) for a video game comprising file(s) is received. The file(s) are analyzed to detect more predefined objective property(ies) of the received third-party generated content. A rarity score for the third-party generated content is calculated based, at least in part, upon the detected one or more predefined objective properties and, optionally, a weight assigned to each predefined objective property. A rarity level for the third-party generated content is assigned based, at least in part, on the calculated score. Information regarding the assigned rarity level of the third-party generated content is provided (e.g., to a user of the video game and/or a creator of the third-party generated content).

  • Patent number: 10985939
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for automatically addressing devices of pool and spa systems in a communication network. The communication network includes at least a first transceiver and a second transceiver that are communicatively coupled via a communication network bus. The first transceiver is configured to transmit a query signal to the second transceiver on a first address on the communication network bus, where the query signal includes a command requesting identification data (e.g., a serial number) associated with the second transceiver from the second transceiver. After receiving a response from the second transceiver, the first transceiver verifies (e.g., validates) the identification data. The first transceiver then automatically addresses the second transceiver individually by transmitting an addressed signal that includes at least a portion of the verified identification data and a command to the second transceiver on a second address on the communication network bus.

  • Patent number: 10983964
Abstract: A technique for operating a file system in a NAS (network attached storage) cluster includes discovering, by a data node running in the NAS cluster, a LUN (Logical UNit) provisioned from block storage. The data node renders the LUN as a block device and creates a local volume, built on the block device. The data node then deploys the file system on the local volume. The file system, the local volume, the block device, and the LUN all have address spaces, and the address space of each corresponds one-to-one with the address space of each of the others. Write requests directed to addresses in the file system propagate to the LUN, where they effect writes at corresponding addresses in the LUN.

  • Patent number: 10984877
Abstract: An apparatus and method for a multi-state verify of a memory array are provided. A sense circuit of a memory device is connected to a bit line of the memory array. The sense circuit includes a first voltage clamp, a second voltage clamp, and a program data latch disposed on the bit line. The first and second voltage clamps are biased to first and second voltages, respectively, where the first voltage is lower than the second voltage. When a high bias is applied to the program data latch, the program data latch is in an OFF state, and the first voltage clamp limits the bias on the bit line to the first voltage. When a low bias is applied to the program data latch, the program data latch is in an ON state, and the second voltage clamp limits the bias on the bit line to the second voltage.
