  • Patent number: 10971202
Abstract: Apparatuses and techniques are described for transferring data out of a memory device with low latency. Data can be stored in data transfer latches for NAND strings arranged in columns in divisions of a block. Data can be output from the data transfer latches for different columns in different divisions in each transfer. For example, the data output can include data from an nth column in some divisions and an n+1st column in other divisions. This avoids outputting unwanted data at the start of a data transfer. The data from the data transfer latches is output to a data pipeline and then to a set of control latch circuits. The data can be clocked out from a last control latch circuit of the set in a desired division order by use of separate multiplexer control signals for the control latch circuits.

  • Patent number: 10968669
Abstract: A system and method for a door is disclosed. The system includes a frame magnetic lock assembly mounted to a door frame, and a door magnetic lock assembly mounted to a door for receiving inductively transferred power from the frame magnetic lock assembly. The door system also includes a door electronics subsystem mounted to the door that includes a power management system that provides power to the door from the inductively transferred power, and charges an energy storage element at the door from the inductively transferred power. The power management system provides power to the door from the energy storage element when the inductively transferred power is not available at the door, such as when the door is open, and resumes providing power to the door from the inductively transferred power once the inductively transferred power is restored. Once restored, some of the inductive power recharges the energy storage element.

  • Patent number: 10972531
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for populating an information interface based upon social media data. For example, users may post, share, and/or discuss various information through social media sources. Accordingly, social media data may be obtained from such social media sources. The social media data may be grouped into sets of social media data based upon temporal information. Within the sets of social media data, social media entries may be clustered into topic clusters (e.g., a royal wedding topic cluster, a plane crash topic cluster, etc.). Event summaries may be generated for respective topic clusters. The event summaries may be used to populate timeslots of an information interface, such as a calendar or timeline, to create annotated timeslots. In this way, the information interface may provide users with an interactive view of events over a time period, such as a year-in-review, based upon social media data.

  • Patent number: 10969798
Abstract: An irrigation controller is disclosed together with associated methods and computer program products. The irrigation controller may calculate a first estimated in-soil water level at a first point in time and a second estimated in-soil water level at a second point in time with the second point in time comprising a beginning of an impermissible watering period for one watering zone. The irrigation controller may set a watering schedule, based on an estimated irrigation rate and the difference between the second estimated in-soil water level and an in-soil water capacity, for the one watering zone of a property such that the second estimated in-soil water level is elevated to the estimated in-soil water capacity based on the estimated irrigation rate for the one watering zone during a permissible watering period immediately before the impermissible watering period.

  • Patent number: 10970547
Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein improve the efficiency of a system by providing intelligent agents for managing data associated with objects that are displayed within mixed-reality and virtual-reality collaboration environments. Individual agents are configured to collect, analyze, and store data associated with individual objects in a shared view. The agents can identify real-world objects and virtual objects discussed in a meeting, collect information about each object and generate recommendations for each object based on the collected information. The recommendations can suggest modifications to the objects, provide resources for obtaining or modifying the objects, and provide actionable information allowing users to reach a consensus regarding an object. The data can be shared between different communication sessions without requiring users to manually store and present a collection of content for each object.

  • Patent number: 10967453
Abstract: A method for the connection of components or component regions and a non-releasable connection produced in this manner. Two connection faces are partially welded to each other with an adhesive layer being incorporated between the two connection faces. The method including the following steps: arranging a welding base on a connection face, applying the adhesive layer to a connection face, moving the connection faces toward each other in such a manner that the welding base is applied against the other connection face, introducing welding current in the region of the applied welding base. A spacer is arranged between the connection faces before the connection faces are moved toward each other. The connection faces are spaced apart from each other in the region of the welding base by the extent that the welding base projects above the spacer.

  • Patent number: 10968880
Abstract: Circuits and methods for controlling a coil current are disclosed. The control utilizes current sources to source/sink charge to/from a capacitance of a switching device to turn the switching device ON/OFF. When turned OFF, the switching device blocks coil current from flowing, which can create a large kickback voltage on the coil. To reduce the large kickback voltage, the capacitance can be discharged slowly by a small discharge current. The disclosed circuits and methods provide a gradual reduction of the coil current at a rate that is slow enough to prevent a spark while minimizing a period for shutdown to prevent overheating. The disclosed systems and methods may be simpler than other approaches because the soft shutdown is no ramp signal is required for the reduction. Instead, a rate of gate capacitance discharge is controlled to maintain the kickback voltage at a particular level.
