  • Patent number: 10967562
Abstract: An additive elastomeric manufactured part having improved surface finish is made by repeatedly extruding through a nozzle to build up layers of a material comprised of a prepolymer comprised of an isocyanate terminated prepolymer and a filler in an amount such that the material has a shear storage modulus G? of 100,000 to 300,000 Pa measured at an oscillation rate of 1 Hz and a relaxation time of 20 seconds to 360 seconds. It has been discovered that the particular material having these rheological properties is able to improve the surface finish of the additive manufactured part without slumping and is believed to be due to surface flow of material into valleys between the extrudates as they are being built up.

  • Patent number: 10970041
Abstract: A list of digital elements to be sorted are converted to a group of analog signals. The group of analog signals are simultaneously compared to each other to determine the largest analog signal in the group. The largest analog signal is then compared to each of the analog signals in the group to determine which one or more of the analog signals in the group matches the largest analog signal. The matching one or more of the analog signals is removed from the group and the process is repeated until the group of analog signals have been sorted.

  • Patent number: 10970902
Abstract: Global position system tagging the movement of an object and extrapolating its direction and speed can be used for various services including emergency-based services. Location data can be computed using edge computing nodes. The extrapolation system can account for feedback from responding user devices and utilize the user device's location at the time of reporting to facilitate determining the direction, location, and/or speed of a moving object. This data can then be utilized to generate augmented reality displays for mobile devices and/or vehicles that utilize the system. The ability to calculate directional information with edge computing nodes can comprise an ability to add enriched data by predicting an object's whereabouts, route, and/or final destination.

  • Patent number: 10968284
Abstract: The present invention is a multilayered composite comprising porous metal oxide particles that are covalently bonded by way of inorganic ether groups to one or more sites of a first polyhydroxyl-functionalized polymer. This first polymer is in turn covalently bonded by way of inorganic ether groups to one or more sites of a second polyhydroxyl-functionalized polymer. The multilayered composites can be prepared by contacting porous inorganic-oxide particles with a sufficient amount of OH-reactive crosslinking agent to form metal oxide particles imbibed with the crosslinking agent, and then contacting the inorganic-oxide particles with a solution of polyhydroxyl-functionalized polymer under reactive conditions.

  • Patent number: 10969214
Abstract: A position sensor is configured to use a Wiegand wire, position magnet(s) and a reset magnet in which changes in polarization of the Wiegand wire caused by the position magnet(s) can be reset by the reset magnet. The position magnet(s), which can move in relation to the Wiegand wire, can have relatively stronger magnetic flux densities, and the reset magnet, which can be fixed in relation to the Wiegand wire, can have a relatively weaker magnetic flux density. When the position magnet(s) are proximal the Wiegand wire, the relatively stronger position magnet(s) overcome the reset magnet to cause a change in polarization of the Wiegand wire which produces an electrical pulse which can be counted. However, when the position magnet(s) become distal to the Wiegand wire, the relatively weaker reset magnet can reset the polarization of the Wiegand wire to prepare for a next count.

  • Patent number: 10970342
Abstract: A method and system is described that enable a plurality of co-authors to generate and edit work product to be incorporated into different documents customized to suit the interests of different audiences. A first user authors a text passage that pertains to a certain subject matter, intending to use this passage in a particular document. The passage is made available over a network to other users who may wish to include the text passage or a derivative thereof in another document being authored. A second user may link to the text passage to incorporate it into another document. When that occurs, changes that either the first user or a copy editor, as a third user, makes to the passage can be made simultaneously in the other document being generated by the other user. If instead, the second user wishes to edit the text passage, the link can be broken and a derivative text passage can be created for inclusion in that second user's document.

  • Patent number: 10971061
Abstract: Techniques are described for operating a display system comprising a light source and a scanning assembly. The light source includes a plurality of emitters arranged in a column and circuitry configured to drive the emitters based on image data. The scanning assembly includes a reflective surface facing the light source, the reflective surface being rotatable in at least one dimension. A control signal including periodic, non-linear pulses causes the reflective surface to rotate through a range of scan angles, thereby forming an output image based on reflection of emitted light. The image data is supplied to the light source in synchronization with the rotational movement of the reflective surface. Changes in rotation speed due to the non-linear nature of the control signal are compensated for by adjusting emission durations for different rows to provide different emission durations at different times based on changes in the linearity of the control signal.

  • Patent number: 10972283
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for implementing zero round trip secure communications based on a noisy secret. In operation, a sender system utilizes a randomly generated message key for encrypting a message to send to a receiver system. The sender system selects a plurality of different sub-keys from a negotiated noisy secret to encrypt the randomly generated message key. The sender system encrypts the message utilizing the randomly generated message key. The sender system sends the encrypted message, all encrypted message keys, and a message MAC that is calculated and added for every sub-key, to the receiver system such that the receiver system is able to perform a MAC-based verification to test sub-key validity of the plurality of different sub-keys.

  • Patent number: 10969789
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide for controlling a vehicle in an autonomous driving mode. For instance, sensor data for an object as well as a plurality of predicted trajectories may be received. Each predicted trajectory may represent a plurality of possible future locations for the object. A grid including a plurality of cells, each being associated with a geographic area, may be generated. Probabilities that the object will enter the geographic area associated with each of the plurality of cells over a period of time into the future may be determined based on the sensor data in order to generate a heat map. One or more of the plurality of predicted trajectories may be compared to the heat map. The vehicle may be controlled in the autonomous driving mode based on the comparison.
