  • Patent number: 10966416
Abstract: A convertible fishing lure assembly includes a lure body having at least one body section and a channel extending longitudinally therethrough and terminating in oppositely disposed open ends. A securing member is removably disposable within the channel. The securing member is dimensioned and disposed to include opposite ends being simultaneously disposed through the open ends of the channel for connection to fishing tackle components disposed exteriorly of the body section. Both the channel and the securing member have corresponding cross-sectional configurations to restrict rotation of the securing member within the channel. The lure body may include a plurality of body sections each having a channel extending therethrough with a securing member removably disposed therein, wherein the body sections are movably interconnected to one another through interconnection of corresponding ends of the different securing members.

  • Patent number: 10967970
Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) includes a fuselage that supports breakaway components that are attached using magnets. One component is a battery pack which powers the vehicle. Another component is a rotor set including two identical pod pairs that each support a motor and a propeller. Each motor is attached to a hub assembly that includes a plurality of spokes captured in a motor hub and sandwiched by a rigid motor printed circuit board on top and a rigid hub plate. The hub assembly construction is rigid in plane and functions to keep the motor firmly stable during operation. The hub assembly is compliant and resilient when impacted parallel to the plane. Other features of the pod pairs encage the otherwise dangerous spinning propeller. This allows the vehicle to operate with a higher level of safety than conventional UAVs.

  • Patent number: 10969973
Abstract: Techniques of implementing software filtered non-volatile memory in a computing device are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method includes detecting an entry being written to a guest admin submission queue (gASQ) by a memory driver of a virtual machine hosted on the computing device. Upon detecting the entry written to the gASQ by the memory driver, the command in the entry is analyzed to determine whether the command is allowed based on a list of allowed or disallowed commands. In response to determining that the command in the entry is not allowed, without sending the command to the non-volatile memory, generating an execution result of the command in response to the entry being written to the gASQ by the memory driver. As such, potentially harmful commands from the memory driver are prevented from being executed by the non-volatile memory.

  • Patent number: 10969223
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a point determination and projection device configured to automatically detect the location of a point of interest, such as a midpoint or other intermediate point on a surface, and to project light or another image onto such point of interest to indicate its location to a user. In accordance with certain aspects of an embodiment of the invention, the device includes remote distance measurement devices, such as laser distance measurement devices, that measure the distance to, for example, corners of a wall surface, and a digital protractor that measures the angle between the two remote distance measurement devices. Based on those measurements, a processor calculates the location of a predesignated point of interest, such as a midpoint or other intermediate point between the two wall corners, and projects a light or other image toward the location of such midpoint or other intermediate point to indicate such location to a user.
