Abstract: Door alarm systems, methods, and apparatus are disclosed. A door alarm system may monitor a door of a refrigeration device and detect a failed attempt at closing the door. In response to detecting the failed attempt, the door alarm system may generate a notification of the detected, failed attempt so that remedial action may be taken.
Abstract: Some embodiments provide systems to determine contextual information comprising: an intent mining system that receive inquiry content that does not include personal identification information (PII) and is configured to determine an estimated intent information being sought by an intended recipient, identify a mapping to a sub-set of supplemental keywords corresponding to the intent information; and identify historic inquiries associated with actual historic product purchases relevant to the inquiry content and supplemental keywords, and obtain a listing of products associated with the inquiry content; a product association system that identifies a set of multiple products that each have a purchase threshold relationship with one or more products from the determined listing of products, and generate an enhanced listing of products; a topic extraction system that evaluates associations between product parameters of the enhanced listing of products to identify multiple associated topics and corresponding topic c

Abstract: A wireless communication system includes a first communication device and a second communication device. The first communication device comprises a first digital signal processor (DSP) that obtains a plurality of radio frequency (RF) signals corresponding to different communication protocols from a plurality of communication systems. The first DSP upconverts a frequency of each of the plurality of RF signals to a different frequency. The first DSP maps and aligns the plurality of RF signals corresponding to the different communication protocols in the mmWave RF signal based on a number of source antennas from which the plurality of RF signals are obtained. Furthermore, the first DSP multiplexes the plurality of RF signals corresponding to different communication protocols into a mmWave RF signal of a specified frequency. The first DSP further transmits the mmWave RF signal of the specified frequency along with a defined pilot tone to the second communication device.
Abstract: The animal litter sifter comprising, a sifter receptacle having an internal chamber with an opening, and having a top edge, a sifter frame sized to rest on the top edge of the sifter receptacle, wherein the sifter receptacle having an opening substantially aligned with the sifter receptacle opening, and a sifter basket having a plurality of side walls converging towards a bottom extending into the sifter receptacle and secured to the sifter frame, wherein at least one sidewall having an impermeable and the remaining sidewalls having a plurality of passages therethrough.
Abstract: The handling of external calls from one or more services to one or more subservices is described. Upon detecting that a service has made an external call to a subservice and prior to allowing the external call to be sent to the subservice, a system evaluates the external call against one or more pre-call thresholds to determine whether or not the one or more pre-call thresholds are met. If the determination is that a pre-call threshold of the one or more pre-call thresholds is not met, the external call is failed without sending the external call to the subservice. This failing might include communicating to the service that placed the external call that the external call has failed. Otherwise, the system sends the external call to the subservice. By applying these thresholds, the service is kept from using too many resources.
Abstract: The disclosure relates to assemblies of thin-walled tubes and mandrels for use in thin wall catheter liners. For example, an assembly is provided that includes a thin-walled PTFE tube comprising walls with a thickness of less than 0.004 inches, positioned over a filled mandrel comprising PTFE with one or more fillers incorporated therein. The disclosure further provides, independently, thin-walled tubes and filled mandrels, as well as methods of making and using such components.

Abstract: Illumination systems for illuminating a hydrant to improve visible detection of the hydrant. An illumination system may include a housing and a lighting module. The housing includes a mount portion configured to engage onto a projecting support that extends upwardly to position the housing above the hydrant. The lighting module may include an antenna configured to receive an electromagnetic signal, a battery configured to provide electrical power, and at least one light source operatively coupled to the battery and to the antenna, the at least one light source being configured to emit light outwardly from the housing in response to the electromagnetic signal received by the antenna.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the preparation of a highly pure cannabidiol compound by a novel synthesis route. The cannabidiol compound can be prepared by an acid-catalyzed reaction of a di-halo olivetol with menthadienol, followed by two crystallization steps. The highly pure cannabidiol compound is produced in high yield, stereospecificity, or both, and shows exceedingly low levels of ?-9-tetrahydrocannabinol at the time of preparation and after storage.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure generally relate to a dialog system allowing for automatically reactivating a speech acquiring mode after the dialog system delivers a response to a user request. The reactivation parameters, such as a delay, depend on a number of predetermined factors and conversation scenarios. The embodiments further provide for a method of operating of the dialog system. An exemplary method comprises the steps of: activating a speech acquiring mode, receiving a first input of a user, deactivating the speech acquiring mode, obtaining a first response associated with the first input, delivering the first response to the user, determining that a conversation mode is activated, and, based on the determination, automatically re-activating the speech acquiring mode within a first predetermined time period after delivery of the first response to the user.
