Abstract: Managed devices containing a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) to provide a trusted environment generate a device certificate at initialization of the TPM and send the device certificate to a management console for storing in a certificate database. Upon detecting a file of interest, the TPM signs the file, adding to a signature list created by previous managed devices. The signature list can be used to analyze the spread of the file across the system of managed devices, including tracking the file to the first managed device to have had a copy, without requiring real-time access to the managed devices during the spread of the file. In some embodiments, additional security measures may be taken responsive to determining the first managed device and the path the file has taken across the system of managed devices.

The enclosure includes: at least one output port configured to output a first portion of the sound from the front cavity and at least one rear port configured to output a second portion of the sound from the rear cavity. The second portion of the sound is substantially out of phase with the first portion. The audio system has an equivalent acoustic volume (Vas) greater than ten times a volume of the front cavity and greater than ten times a volume of the rear cavity.
Abstract: In aspects of string matching in encrypted data, a computing device stores homomorphic encrypted data as a dataset, and implements a string matching application that receives an encrypted query string as a query of the homomorphic encrypted data. The string matching application can then apply algorithms to perform addition and multiplication operations, and determine whether there are matching strings of the encrypted query string in the dataset. The string matching application can compute, for each row of the dataset, a sum of some function of dataset bits and query bits for a row result, and multiply the row results of the computed rows to determine matching strings. Alternatively, the string matching application can compute, for each row of the dataset, a product over some function of the dataset bits and the query bits for a row result, and add the row results of the computed rows to determine matching strings.

Abstract: Disclosed is a technique for 3D reconstruction through a combination of time-of-flight (ToF) and stereoscopy. Use of a single modulation frequency in ToF computation provides a set of ambiguous distances. To determine a single accurate distance out of this candidate set, a stereoscopic comparison of an image pair provides a disambiguating distance. The stereoscopic comparison uses a stored virtual image of at least part of the emitted light, and the detected image of light reflected from an object. The stereoscopic distance is used to determine which of the multiple accurate distances is correct based on proximity. The closest of the multiple distances to the disambiguating distance is taken as the actual distance.
