Abstract: Multiple mobility sets are maintained for nodes of radio networks. The sets comprise information such as: transmit and receive point identities; cell identities; beam identities; frequency channels; channel bandwidth; and black lists. The sets may be defined at different levels, such as network and physical (PHY) level. A network mobility set, e.g., a new-radio (NR) mobility set may, be determined by the gNB, the cell, the UE, or another device. Multiple radio access network nodes and UEs may exchange mobility set information to achieve a distributed mobility solution. A UE may monitor its orientation relative to a TRP, e.g., via use of an onboard MEMS gyroscope, and alter its beamforming parameters in response to changes in orientation and/or changes in TRP connection strength. Cell selection and reselection for beam based networks may use Single Frequency Network (SFN) broadcast of initial access signals without beam sweeping.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for receiving order information at a storage space, then generating single-use access information for opening the storage space to either deposit an item into, or retrieve an item from, the storage space. This single-use access information may be encoded into a token, then transmitted to a mobile device of the customer or courier. As the customer or courier crosses a geo-fence surrounding the storage space with the token, the mobile device transmits, to the storage space, a notification. This notification informs the storage space to transmit the single-use access instructions, allowing the courier or customer to deposit or remove a product as needed.

Abstract: An expanded laminate and method of forming an expanded laminate are disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the method includes selectively applying a relatively high temperature-resistant material to a surface of a first metal sheet to form a covered portion and an uncovered portion and diffusion bonding the first metal sheet to a second metal sheet at the uncovered portion to form a bonded region and an unbonded region. Pressurized gas may be introduced between the first and second metal sheets to expand the first and second metal sheets in the unbonded region. The metal sheets may be aluminum sheets. The sheets may be positioned in a die having a plurality of cavities such that when the pressurized gas is introduced the sheets expand into the cavities. The diffusion bonding may be performed by applying pressure, for example, using rollers.

Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method for determining a proximity status between electrodes may include detecting an amount of electrical charge an electrode among other electrodes that are communicatively coupled to an artificial reality device. The method may further include determining, based on the detected amount of electrical charge at the electrode, a mutual capacitance measurement that indicates an amount of mutual capacitance between the other electrodes. The method may also include determining, based on the mutual capacitance measurement, a relative proximity status between the electrodes, where the relative proximity status indicates a degree to which the electrodes are in proximity with each other. The method may further include providing the determined relative proximity status between the electrodes as an input to the artificial reality device. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

Abstract: An exemplary powertrain assembly includes a first electric machine that selectively drives one or more wheel driveshafts, and a second electric machine that, through a manual transmission, selectively drives one or more wheel driveshafts. An engine, through the manual transmission, selectively drives the same wheel driveshaft selectively driven by the second electric machine. An exemplary vehicle control method includes, in an automatic transmission mode, selectively driving a wheel driveshaft with torque from a first electric machine, and selectively rotating a second electric machine with an engine. The second electric machine generates electric power that is supplied to the first electric machine. In a manual transmission mode, the method selectively applies torque to a wheel driveshaft with torque from an engine that is moved through a manual transmission.
Abstract: Resilient mounting clips, panel mount systems including the same, and associated methods. A resilient mounting clip includes a support structure engagement portion and a panel engagement portion with a plurality of edge extensions and a plurality of outboard panel supports. Each outboard panel support extends from a respective edge extension. Each outboard panel support is configured to move at least substantially parallel to a compression axis when the respective edge extension resiliently flexes with respect to the support structure engagement portion. A panel mount system includes at least one support structure, at least one resilient mounting clip, and at least two panels received by each mounting clip. A method of assembling a panel mount system includes positioning and securing a resilient mounting clip on a support structure and receiving each of a first panel and a second panel with the resilient mounting clip.
Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to a system that utilizes regular expression (regex) to recognize at least portions of characters, words, text, numbers, etc. in a structured or unstructured dataset, any patterns associated therewith, and/or similarities between the determined patterns. In examples, a regex-based pattern recognition platform may receive a dataset and determine whether at least a first regex pattern and a second regex pattern can be identified. The occurrences of the first and second regex patterns and the frequency of those occurrences may reveal something about the dataset itself or any patterns contained therein.
