  • Patent number: 10804759
Abstract: An electrical system includes a cycloidal electric machine having a stator and an eccentric rotor. An airgap is defined between the stator and the rotor. The rotor moves with two degrees of freedom (2DOF), including rotating motion about the rotor axis and orbiting motion about the stator axis. A rotor constraint mechanism (RCM) constrains rotor motion to enable output torque to transfer to a coupled load in at least one of the 2DOF. The machine includes a structural element connected to or formed integrally with the rotor or stator that minimizes and substantially equalizes a size of the airgap around a circumference of the rotor. The element may be a crescent-shaped race of ferrous material coupled to a rotor shaft. The stator may include stator teeth, the rotor may include lobes, and the stator teeth and rotor lobes may have cycloid-profiled surfaces that form the structural element.

  • Patent number: 10799781
Abstract: A golf swing playing aid device for use on a conventional golf club having a handle, an impact head and a shaft. The golf swing playing aid device includes a grip member having an outer portion and an inner portion. The outer portion is adapted to be grasped by the lower hand of the user. The inner portion is configured to slide along the golf club shaft. The grip member is configured such that when gripped by the lower hand of the user during a backswing the grip member slides down the shaft toward the head, whereby the hands of the user, when grasping the handle with the upper hand and the grip member with the lower hand can separate progressively during a backswing and then progressively return back into proximity during a downswing and follow-through of a golf swing to promote a more perfect and repeatable golf swing.

  • Patent number: 10804804
Abstract: Technologies pertaining to a power supply that includes a nonlinear transmission line are described herein. In an embodiment, a DC power supply comprises a pulsing circuit that receives a DC input and outputs a first plurality of pulses having a first frequency to a nonlinear transmission line. The nonlinear transmission line receives the first plurality of pulses and outputs a second plurality of pulses having a second frequency that is greater than the first frequency. The second plurality of pulses is then received at an amplifier/rectifier circuit that amplifies the second pulses to increase a voltage amplitude of the pulses, and rectifies the pulses to provide a substantially constant DC output.

  • Patent number: 10805292
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for secure authentication and network access management for mobile computing devices. A server establishes a communications session with a mobile device. The server receives a network access request from the mobile device, the network access request including user access class data based upon authentication credentials provided by a user. The server determines a level of network access to provide to the mobile device based upon the user access class data. The server generates network configurations based upon the determined level of network access. The server applies the network configurations to the communications session with the mobile device. The server transmits an acknowledgment of the network access request to the mobile device. The mobile device routes network traffic originating from the mobile device to external network devices according to the applied network configurations.

  • Patent number: 10805454
Abstract: A process for real-time data exchange allows for sharing data, including metadata such as user data and phone data, between multiple handsets so that handsets may automatically display such data upon initiation or establishment of a telephone call, and in some arrangements throughout the life of the call. In this way, the need for subsequent data transmissions is reduced or eliminated, making bandwidth usage more efficient and conserving battery power.

  • Patent number: 10805307
Abstract: Systems and methods for authenticating access to multiple data stores substantially in real-time are disclosed. The system may include a server coupled to a network, a client device in communication with the server via the network and a plurality of data stores. The server may authenticate access to the data stores and forward information from those stores to the client device. An exemplary authentication method may include receipt of a request for access to data. Information concerning access to that data is stored and associated with an identifier assigned to a client device. If the identifier is found to correspond to the stored information during a future request for access to the store, access to that store is granted.
