  • Patent number: 10801911
Abstract: Methods and systems for installing tires to corresponding wheels are disclosed. An example method includes measuring non-uniformity of a first assembled tire and wheel at three or more different relative rotational positions to determine corresponding measurements of non-uniformity according to a predetermined metric, and determining that each of the measurements are above a predetermined non-uniformity limit. A rotationally relative installation position for the tire on the wheel may be determined using at least these measurements, with the position of the tire relative to the wheel in the rotationally relative installation position being different from each of the first, second, and third relative rotational positions. In examples where at least a second tire/wheel combination is measured below the non-uniformity threshold, installation of the second tire/wheel may conclude at the position where the assembled tire/wheel is measured below the non-uniformity threshold.

  • Patent number: 10801303
Abstract: A choke can include a variable flow restrictor, external ports in communication with a flow passage respectively upstream and downstream of the flow restrictor, and sensor(s) in communication with the external ports. A method can include flowing a well fluid through a flow passage in a body of a choke including a variable flow restrictor, measuring a pressure differential between external ports in communication with respective upstream and downstream sides of the flow restrictor, and operating the flow restrictor, thereby varying a restriction to the flow through the flow passage, in response to the measured pressure differential. A well system can include a well fluid pump, a flow choke including a variable flow restrictor operable by an actuator that includes a displaceable stem and a stem seal that isolates the actuator from the well fluid in the flow choke, and a control system that operates the actuator.

  • Patent number: 10800531
Abstract: Passenger accommodation systems are described. An example passenger accommodation system can be disposed in an aircraft and can include a passenger seating deck, a plurality of passenger seats disposed within the passenger seating deck, and a partition wall disposed within the passenger seating deck so as to separate the plurality of passenger seats into a first set of passenger seats and a second set of passenger seats. The partition wall can be aligned with a longitudinal axis extending in the direction of travel of the aircraft. Movement of passengers between the first set of seats and the second set of seats may not impeded by the partition wall.

  • Patent number: 10802074
Abstract: An apparatus and method for analyzing phase noise in a signal. A plurality of signal samples, each signal sample representing a value of phase noise in a signal-under-test at a corresponding offset frequency, and filter data representing filter characteristics on a first side of a spectrum boundary, are used to derive filtered signal samples. A measure of noise is derived from the filtered signal samples. This abstract is not to be considered limiting, since other embodiments may deviate from the features described in this abstract.
