Abstract: An electrical assembly includes a number of modules, each module including at least one module switching element and at least one energy storage device, each module switching element and each energy storage device in each module arranged to be combinable to provide a voltage source, each module including a discharge circuit with a discharge switching element and a discharge resistor, each discharge switching element switchable to switch the corresponding discharge resistor into and out of the corresponding module, wherein the electrical assembly includes a controller configured to control the discharge switching elements to modulate the switching of each discharge resistor into and out of the corresponding module in a voltage balancing mode when the modules are in a blocked state so that each module emulates a resistive load profile to balance a distribution of voltages between the modules, wherein the resistive load profile includes at least one positive resistive slope.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating and managing dynamic customized electronic tokens for electronic device interactions. A system for transferring data between a user device associated with a user and a remote device may include a memory storing instructions and a processor configured to execute the stored instructions. The stored instructions may configure the processor to receive, via a network, transaction information from the remote device, access information associated with an electronic token, and provide the electronic token to the remote device. The electronic token may be associated with at least one of the user or the user device, and a token server may generate the electronic token based on the received transaction information, and determine one or more expiration parameters for the electronic token.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method, an electronic device, and a program product for image processing. In one embodiment, a method may include: at an edge node of a network, obtaining a first image generated based on data associated with a target event, wherein the first image has a first resolution ratio. Additionally, the method may further include: sending a second image converted from the first image to a terminal device, wherein the second image has a second resolution ratio higher than the first resolution ratio. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, by rendering a low-resolution-ratio image at a cloud server and transmitting the image to an edge node or a terminal device for reconstructing a high-resolution-ratio image, the bandwidth and time delay of high-definition image transmission can be significantly reduced, so that the user experience is improved.
Abstract: Metadata for one or more highlights of a video stream may be extracted from one or more card images embedded in the video stream. The highlights may be segments of the video stream, such as a broadcast of a sporting event, that are of particular interest. According to one method, video frames of the video stream are stored. One or more information cards embedded in a decoded video frame may be detected by analyzing one or more predetermined video frame regions. Image segmentation, edge detection, and/or closed contour identification may then be performed on identified video frame region(s). Further processing may include obtaining a minimum rectangular perimeter area enclosing all remaining segments, which may then be further processed to determine precise boundaries of information card(s). The card image(s) may be analyzed to obtain metadata, which may be stored in association with at least one of the video frames.

Abstract: A base station transmits radio resource control (RRC) messages having configuration parameters indicating a first bandwidth part (BWP) and a second BWP. The base station also transmits a first downlink control information (DCI) scheduling one or more first uplink resources for a first reception of a first uplink transport block (TB) from a wireless device via the first BWP. Before the first reception of the first uplink TB, the base station may transmit a second DCI indicating a switching from the first BWP to the second BWP and one or more second uplink resources for a second reception of a second uplink TB from the wireless device via the second BWP. Abstract: In curing a matrix material of a rollable optical fiber ribbon, ultraviolet light may be concentrated in a selected range of wavelengths to avoid further curing the primary coating of each fiber. A ribbon may be made by aligning the fibers, each having at least a primary coating, into a ribbon shape, applying a matrix material in intermittently distributed portions along the ribbon-shaped group of fibers, and exposing the ribbon-shaped group of fibers and applied matrix material to ultraviolet light concentrated in a range of wavelengths absorbed more by the matrix material than by the primary coating.

Abstract: Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) can provide security against quantum computers that could feasibly determine private keys from public keys.
