  • Patent number: 12143283
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and system for network monitoring are provided. The method retrieves and processes performance data files from each technology type in the network. These performance data files are then loaded into a time series database. At least one key performance indicator is derived from the data. The performance data is organized by region and pool level and then displayed by region and pool level. The method provides configurable thresholds for key performance indicators and alerts users to those thresholds. The apparatus provides a display allowing both monitoring and test functions to be selected. The display is automatically updated based on a predetermined, selectable time interval.

  • Patent number: 12143589
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods, apparatuses, and non-transitory computer-readable storage mediums for video encoding/decoding. An apparatus includes processing circuitry that partitions a current block of a current picture based on a geometric partitioning mode (GPM). The current block is partitioned into two partitions in the GPM mode. Each of the partitions is associated with a respective predictor. A weighting index for a sample of the current block is determined based on a position of the sample. A weighting factor is calculated based on the weighting index of the sample according to an equation that converts the weighting index to the weighting factor. The sample is encoded based on the weighting factor and the predictor corresponding to the sample.

  • Patent number: 12141619
Abstract: Mapping information identifies ranges of files, a set of front-end microservices, and assignments of the ranges to the front-end microservices. Each front-end microservice is thereby responsible for a range of files. The files are represented by segment trees and the front-end microservices handle operations involving an upper-level of the segment trees. A file system request on a file is directed to a particular front-end microservice that is responsible for handling a particular range of files within which the file falls according to the mapping information. An indication is received from a container orchestration service that a number of front-end microservices has changed. The mapping information is updated based on the change in the number of front-end microservices.

  • Patent number: 12143769
Abstract: A wearable loudspeaker includes a magnetic-flux-carrying housing that houses an acoustic sealing structure that separates an interior of the housing into a back volume and a front volume acoustically coupled to a sound port. A first coil is retained in the front volume and comprises a first winding about a corresponding first magnetic core. A second coil is retained in the back volume and comprises a second winding about a corresponding second magnetic core. Opposing surfaces of the first and second magnetic cores have opposite magnetic polarities and produce a magnetic field in a gap between the first and second coils. A magnetic-flux-carrying armature is movably located in the gap and fastened to the acoustic sealing structure. Sound is emitted from the sound port when the armature moves the acoustic sealing structure in the gap.

  • Patent number: 12141160
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for performing in-flight transformations of data streams. Complex event processing (CEP) operating on event records from various data streams can operate by storing the streamed event record data in a database, and then querying the data to perform a data transformation. However, in order to improve the performance of the data transformations and streamline CEP, a serverless architecture is introduced that can perform data transformations directly on streams, using attributes of the streamed record data defined in a schema. The resulting transformed data can then be provided by the serverless architecture to the CEP for direct access of the data most needed by the CEP.

  • Patent number: 12142073
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for device fingerprint-based authentication are provided herein. A computing device may receive, from a user device, authentication credentials and a first device fingerprint. The device fingerprint may be encrypted using a public/private key pair and may identify one or more aspects of the user device, such as operating parameters of the user device. Based on the authentication credentials, the computing device may authenticate the user device, store the first device fingerprint, and send a token to the user device. The computing device may receive a request for access to content. The request may comprise the token and a second device fingerprint. The second device fingerprint may be different from the first device fingerprint. Based on the token and comparing the first device fingerprint to the second device fingerprint, the computing device may determine whether to authenticate the device that sent the request.

  • Patent number: 12141770
Abstract: An electronic commerce (e-commerce) system may send advertisement emails to customers that are registered with the e-commerce system. The advertisement emails may include mailto links. Each mailto link describes an email message that is generated when that link is selected. When a mailto link is selected, the generated email message includes one or more parameters related to a money transfer made by the customer to a second financial account. For example, the generated email message may include a customer identifier, and/or one or more parameters that indicate the second financial account to which a money transfer should be made, and an amount to be transferred. The generated email message may then be transmitted to the e-commerce system. The e-commerce system may receive the message and, based on the parameters in the received message, communicate with a payment processing system to perform the money transfer indicated in the message.

  • Patent number: 12143587
Abstract: A method for transforming high dynamic range (HDR) video data into standard dynamic range (SDR) video data and encoding the SDR video data so that the HDR video data may be recovered at the decoder includes generating a tone map describing a transformation applied to the HDR video data to generate the SDR video data. The generated tone map describes the transformation as the multiplication of each HDR pixel in the HDR video data by a scalar to generate the SDR video data. The tone map is then modeled as a reshaping transfer function and the HDR video data is processed by the reshaping transfer function to generate the SDR video data. The reshaping transfer function is then inverted and described in a self-referential metadata structure. The SDR video data is then encoded including the metadata structure defining the inverse reshaping transfer function.
