Abstract: Provided herein is a method of manufacturing a nanoscale coated network, which includes providing nanofibers, capable of forming a network in the presence of a liquid vehicle and providing a nanoscale solid substance in the presence of the liquid vehicle. Abstract: An independent buckle release assist device that is a shaped lever that allows a user to gain mechanical advantage to release a typical seat belt release button. The device uses the seat restraint as a leverage point to create the mechanical advantage required to reduce the force of actuating the button. The release assist device is also designed to both stay mounted at least partially around the seat restraint and to be removably mounted to the seat restraint.

Abstract: A high voltage battery pack comprises series-connected battery units, each separately powering a respective DC/DC converter. The converter outputs are coupled in parallel to supply a low-voltage DC bus. A central module has 1) an outer loop controller generating a target current to regulate the bus voltage and 2) an allocator distributing the target current via allocated current commands for respective converters. Local controllers each regulate an output current of a respective converter. The allocator identifies battery units having a predetermined deviation from a reference metric that characterizes the battery pack, allocates reverse currents to respective converters for the identified battery units, and increases the target current commanded for the DC/DC converters not allocated to have a reverse current by the allocated reverse currents. Battery units with extremely low or high states as compared with the other units are quickly balanced, thereby improving overall performance of the battery pack.
Abstract: The various implementations described herein include methods, devices, and systems for determining locations of a plurality of electronic devices within a home. In one aspect, a method is performed at a computing system having one or more processors and memory. The method includes: (1) obtaining device identification information for a plurality of electronic devices; (2) broadcasting, via a standard wireless communication protocol, a request based on the device identification information that a particular electronic device of the plurality of electronic devices be enabled to transmit or reflect location information using a radar technique; (3) receiving a signal from the particular electronic device, the signal indicating a location of the particular electronic device using a radar technique; and (4) determining the location of the particular electronic device based on the received signal.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for a fuel supply system for an internal combustion engine system, in particular of a motor vehicle, having at least one liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tank for storing an LPG fuel and at least one direct injection unit, which has a direct injection fuel distributor and direct injection valves that can be supplied with fuel via said distributor. In order to improve supply of the internal combustion engine system with LPG fuel, the fuel supply system includes a booster pump inserted between the LPG tank and the direct injection fuel distributor. A discharge side of the booster pump is connected directly to the direct injection fuel distributor by at least one line, and the direct injection valves each have a closure part that rises outward from a valve seat to open the respective direct injection valve.
