Abstract: In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to individually secure carts, racks, and the like within delivery vehicles using a universal clasping mechanism. The clasping mechanism is configured to clamp shut on a portion of the carts to thereby restrain the carts during transportation. In some embodiments, locking the clasping mechanism can be achieved by pushing a portion of the mechanism to thereby pivot arms of the mechanism to clamp on a portion of the cart.

Abstract: Natural liquid potassium soap compositions and methods of manufacturing and using the same are provided with thickening by the addition of chloride salts, such as sodium chloride and potassium chloride. The natural liquid potassium soap compositions may contain one or more fatty acids with carbon length ranging from four (C4) to twenty-two (C22) or natural fatty acid mixtures with coconut oil, olive oil, tallow, sunflower oil, safflower oil, and/or tall oil fatty acids which are saponified with lye. The saponification lye is preferably potassium hydroxide. Preferred embodiments contain potassium salts of fatty acids comprising at least oleic acid (C18:1 cis-9), olive oils, coconut oils or mixtures thereof. The chloride salt is added in either solid or liquid form following saponification and neutralization.

Abstract: A system and method for modeling a geological structure may include, in an initial model, computing a first function for a geological structure including a first set of iso-surfaces. A processor may detect if the first set of iso-surfaces intersect a set of geological markers within a threshold proximity. If not, the initial model may be corrected using an induced mesh having an increased cell resolution compare to the initial model for computing a second function for the geological structure including a second set of iso-surfaces that intersect the geological markers within the threshold proximity. A processor may insert the second set of iso-surfaces into a second model to locally increase its resolution relative to the initial model by dividing cells in the second model along the second set of iso-surfaces. For each new geological structure, the above steps may be repeated using the second model as the initial model.

The system includes, for each member, a User Interface Module that provides the member with the ability to connect the social networking session to a nearby speaker. It also allows the user to rapidly select an audio clip from a personalized menu of prerecorded audio clips, and to cause all audio speakers connected to the session to timely play the selected audio clip. These signals are captured in a plurality of frames at a first frame rate. The computing system calculates light intensity metrics for each frame of the plurality of frames based on the one or more signals captured in the respective frames. The computing system detects one or more peaks based on the light intensity metrics associated with one or more frames of the plurality of frames. The one or more frames were captured in a predetermined time period. The computing system determines a likelihood of perceptible flicker based on the detected one or more peaks. The computing system causes the one or more cameras to capture frames at a second frame rate in response to a determination that the likelihood of perceptible flicker exceeds a predetermined threshold.
