Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for performing dynamic, stroke-based alignment of touch displays. In one aspect, a method includes obtaining a candidate transcription that an automated speech recognizer generates for an utterance, determining a particular context associated with the utterance, determining that a particular n-gram that is included in the candidate transcription is included among a set of undesirable n-grams that is associated with the context, adjusting a speech recognition confidence score associated with the transcription based on determining that the particular n-gram that is included in the candidate transcription is included among the set of undesirable n-grams that is associated with the context, and determining whether to provide the candidate transcription for output based at least on the adjusted speech recognition confidence score.

The internal circuit board is provide to the insulating housing, and the internal circuit board is provided with a ground pad, an insertion gap is formed between the ground pad and the insulating housing. The metal shield shell is provided to the insulating housing, and the metal shield shell has a ground tongue, the ground tongue has a contact section, the contact section has a top surface and a bulge formed on an opposite side of the top surface, a distance between the top surface of the contact section of the ground tongue and a bottom surface of the bulge is larger than the insertion gap, the ground tongue inserts into the insertion gap and the contact section of the ground tongue is clamped between the insulating housing and the ground pad to make the bottom surface of the bulge contact the ground pad.

Abstract: Methods and systems for separating liquid components are disclosed. A vessel is provided containing a solids conveyance device. At least a first portion of the vessel acts as an indirect-contact heat exchanger and a second portion of the vessel contains a filter. A process liquid stream, containing a first component and a second component, is passed into the first portion of the vessel. A portion of the second component is frozen and entrained in the first portion of the vessel into the process liquid stream, resulting in a process slurry stream. The process slurry stream is passed into a second portion of the vessel by the solids conveyance device. The process slurry stream is separated into a solid product stream and a primary liquid product stream by passing the primary liquid product stream through the filter and out of the vessel while separately removing the solid product stream out of the vessel.

The trachea is clear and surrounded by anatomically functional elements to provide efficient and thorough tracheostomy training for medical professionals.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system for processing data. During operation, the system obtains labels for entities found in portions of text in a first set of jobs. Next, the system inputs the portions of text and the labels as training data for a machine learning model. The system then applies the machine learning model to a second set of jobs to generate predictions of additional entities in additional portions of text in the second set of jobs. Finally, the system creates, based on the predictions, an index containing mappings of the additional entities to subsets of the second set of jobs in which the additional entities are found.

Abstract: Systems and methods for user request detection and execution in a mobile electronic communications device entail using a low power request detection module in conjunction with a high power request detection module. The low power request detection module detects speech, determines that the detected speech is that of an authorized user and determines that the speech contains a request. The low power request detection module then awakens the high power request detection module from idle, which then determines with a higher confidence threshold that the speech of the authorized user contains a request and the interprets and executes the request.

Abstract: A stent graft for placement in a vessel of a patient, the stent graft that has a tubular body of graft material, the tubular body having a proximal inflow end, a distal outflow end, a main lumen therethrough, a longitudinal access, and a sidewall from the first end to the second end. At least one stent is along the length of the tubular body. One or more shaped recesses are formed of a concave or recessed portion of graft material that extends into the lumen of the stent graft. A fenestration is in the recessed portion with a fenestration and an internal branch extends from the or each fenestration toward the proximal end of the tubular body of graft material. The internal branch may have a tubular portion and a funnel portion, wherein the tubular portion extends into the main lumen and the enlarged funnel portion is attached to sidewall and forms the at least one shaped recess.

Abstract: A collapsible pessary is provided, and can have a stem and at least one hingedly attached petal member that can rotate between a collapsed state with a smaller diameter and a deployed state with a larger diameter. In the deployed state, the at least one petal member can extend outward from the stem, and in the collapsed state, the at least one petal member can be rotated upwards so that the diameter of the pessary is smaller in the collapsed state than in the deployed state. The pessary can be in a collapsed state wherein its overall diameter is at a minimum, or a deployed state, wherein its overall diameter is at a maximum.

Based on a glossary file, the processor may determine a respective ontology entity type of each word included in the tokenized utterance. The processor may extract a character embedding vector from each character included in the tokenized utterance. Based on the plurality of word embedding vectors, the plurality of respective ontology entity types of the words, and the plurality of character embedding vectors, the processor may determine a predefined intention of the tokenized utterance using at least one recurrent neural network. The predefined intention may indicate a target ontology entity type.

The methods and structures described herein also include, for example, a scanning device comprising an optical system, a first magnet disposed on a first side of the optical system, where the first magnet can be non-rotatable, a second magnet disposed on a second side of the optical system, opposite the first magnet, where the second magnet can be rotatable, and a lever arm coupled to the second magnet, where the lever is capable of rotating the second magnet.

Abstract: An electronic lockbox uses a rotary actuator with multiple positions to achieve multiple locking states. Multiple positions of the actuator are detected, using optical sensors. The locking mechanism includes an outer sleeve and an inner cylindrical barrel that are coupled with torsion springs. The lockbox has a shackle and a key bin that are retained by the inner barrel when in the locked state, and the barrel can be rotated to either release the shackle or to release the key bin that typically holds a building's key.

Abstract: A stand-alone, single-layer, auxiliary ballistic security barrier system configured to be installed over existing doors. The ballistic security barrier system provides protection against an active shooter with weapons, including handguns and high-powered rifles. The ballistic security barrier system includes a frame fixed to a wall with an anchor system and having structural tubing, mounting angle, and a locking system located inside the structural tubing. Further, the system includes a barrier pivotably attached to the frame and made out of material suitable to withstand impact from a high velocity rifle. The barrier is held in a first stowed position by a release apparatus, and in a second closed position by a lock.

Abstract: A method of data sequence processing assisted by an information technology (IT) cloud platform includes detecting target surroundings, via a first sensor arranged on a first vehicle traversing the target surroundings. The method also includes communicating, to the IT cloud platform via a first electronic controller arranged on the first vehicle, a processed first data set indicative of a characteristic of the detected target surroundings. The method additionally includes merging, on the IT cloud platform, the processed first data set with an IT cloud data set residing on the IT cloud platform to generate a combined data set indicative of the characteristic of the target surroundings. A data sequence processing system assisted by the IT cloud platform is also disclosed.
