Abstract: An e-vapor apparatus may include a pod assembly including a pre-vapor formulation compartment, a first electrical connector, a vapor channel traversing the pre-vapor formulation compartment, and a vaporizer, the pre-vapor formulation compartment configured to hold a pre-vapor formulation therein and in fluidic communication with the vaporizer during an operation of the e-vapor apparatus, the first electrical connector including first and second power electrodes, the first power electrode including a first contact portion on an exterior of the first electrical connector and a first extended portion configured to contact an anode portion of the vaporizer, the second power electrode including a second contact portion on the exterior of the first electrical connector and a second extended portion configured to contact a cathode portion of the vaporizer. The e-vapor apparatus may further include a dispensing body including a second electrical connector configured to connect to the first electrical connector.

Abstract: A surgical clip applier is provided that includes first and second jaws on a distal end of an elongate shaft, a clip advancing assembly extending through the shaft and configured to advance a distal-most clip from a plurality of clips in the shaft into the first and second jaws. The jaws have opposed inward facing surfaces, and each inward facing surface has a clip track defined therein for receiving and guiding legs of a clip into the first and second jaws. The clip track of at least one of the jaws has at least one deflectable clip retention member disposed therein and configured to apply a biasing force to a leg of a clip disposed within the jaws to thereby retain the clip within the jaws and maintain alignment of the clip with respect to the jaws. The clip track of at least one of the jaws may also have at least one recess or protrusion designed to be complementary to and mate with a protrusion or recess in a clip.

Abstract: A system provides consumers more product information to make informed buying decisions as well as recommendations, promotional messages, or couponing associated with a selected or related product. When used in a retail environment, radio or visual tagging of the products, displays, or retail shelf allows a mobile or other computing device to read a unique identifier and use it to retrieve the product information from a remote server. An extended clarity score may combine objective data and/or qualitative, subjective data with information about whether certain data has been provided. In some embodiments, structured identifiers indicate particular sources, product lines, production batches, marketing channels, retail destinations, and the like. In others, the information is retrieved as a function of one or a combination of products that the consumer has considered during a single in-store shopping trip.

Abstract: A system to detect an airborne drone presenting a flight risk to piloted aircraft and to warn the piloted aircraft of the detected drone. An airborne drone is detected by any of several means, to include receipt of drone location or identification data broadcast by the drone or a ground-based system, or through a piloted aircraft airborne sensor. The safety warning and real-time detection of a hazardous drone may be shared among other piloted aircraft, to include aircraft unequipped with airborne sensors.

Abstract: An illumination display platform is provided. The platform includes an illumination source, like an LED strip, that provides lighting effects in connection with an art element and a panel system when the art element and panel system are in electrical and magnetic communication with one another. Abstract: In general, a smart door alarm and locking mechanism and methods for use thereof are provided for maintaining security while providing ease of access to a fuel dispenser. In an exemplary embodiment, the methods and devices are used in fuel dispensing devices for providing fuel to a vehicle. However, the methods and devices can be utilized in any device having a payment system where security and access are both required. In some embodiments, the described methods and systems include a door alarm and door lock kit that allow unlocking one or more doors in a housing of a fuel dispenser and simultaneously disabling or de-activating respective door alarm sensor(s). In a similar manner, the door can be locked and the door alarm sensor activated or re-activated substantially simultaneously.

Abstract: A packaged power transistor device includes a Direct-Bonded Copper (“DBC”) substrate. Contact pads of a first lead are attached with solderless welds to a metal layer of the DBC substrate. In a first example, the solderless welds are ultrasonic welds. In a second example, the solderless welds are laser welds. A single power transistor realized on a single semiconductor die is attached to the DBC substrate. In one example, a first bond pad of the die is wire bonded to a second lead, and a second bond pad of the die is wire bonded to a third lead. The die, the wire bonds, and the metal layer of the DBC substrate are covered with an amount of plastic encapsulant. Lead trimming is performed to separate the first, second and third leads from the remainder of a leadframe, the result being the packaged power transistor device.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed that leverage multi-factor authentication features of a service provider and intelligent call routing to increase security and efficiency at a customer call center. Pre-authentication of customer support requests reduces the potential for misappropriation of sensitive customer data during call handling. A contactless card uniquely associated with a client may provide a second factor of authentication via a backchannel to reduce the potential for malicious third-party impersonation of the client prior to transfer of the call to the customer call center. Pre-authorized customer support calls may be intelligently and efficiently routed directly to call center agents, without incurring further delay. During call handling, call center agents may initiate further client authentication processes, including contactless card authentication requests, over one or more different communication channels for authorizing access to sensitive information or to allay suspicion.

Abstract: A method and system for providing an enhanced video stream includes receiving a video stream captured by a camera positioned to include a target in a camera field of view and entering a detection mode to detect the target in the received video stream, before detecting the target in the video stream. Upon detecting the target in the video stream, the method automatically switches from the detection mode to an enhancement mode configured to process the video stream to obtain an enhanced video stream of the detected target. The enhanced video stream is then presented for display on a display device, while a position of at least one of the camera or the target are monitored while presenting the enhanced video stream for display. The method and system then detects a change in the position of at least one of the camera or the target, and upon detecting the change in the position, automatically generates a signal to switch back to the detection mode and detect a position of the target in the video stream.

Abstract: A low voltage drive circuit includes a transmit digital to analog circuit that converts transmit digital data into analog outbound data by: generating a DC component; generating a first oscillation at a first frequency; generating a second oscillation at the first frequency; and outputting the first oscillation or the second oscillation on a bit-by-bit basis in accordance with the transmit digital data to produce an oscillating component, wherein the DC component is combined with the oscillating component to produce the analog outbound data, and wherein the oscillating component and the DC component are combined to produce the analog outbound data. A drive sense circuit drives an analog transmit signal onto a bus, wherein the analog outbound data is represented within the analog transmit signal as variances in loading of the bus at the first frequency and wherein analog inbound data is represented within an analog receive signal as variances in loading of the bus at a second frequency.

Abstract: Delegated administration of permissions using a contactless card. In one example, a permissions module may receive a request from a first account to grant a second account access to a computing resource. The permissions module may receive permissions data of the first account from a contactless card and encrypted data generated by the contactless card. The permissions module may transmit the permissions data and the encrypted data to an authentication server, which may verify the encrypted data based at least in part on the private key, and determine, based on the permissions data, that the first account has permissions to grant access to the computing resource. The permissions module may receive, from the authentication server, an indication of the verification of the encrypted data and a permissions vector associated with the second account, the permissions vector reflecting the grant of access to the computing resource to the second account.

Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing network application programming interface (“API”), and, more particularly, implementing dual network telemetry API framework. In some embodiments, a computing system might receive first network telemetry data from a first network via a gateway API, might receive second network telemetry data from one or more second networks via a network API, and might analyze the first network telemetry data and the second network telemetry data to determine first instructions to send to the first network and to determine second instructions to send to the one or more second networks. The computing system might send the first instructions to first nodes in the first network to cause the first nodes to perform at least one first action and send the second instructions to each second network to cause the second nodes in each second networks to perform at least one second action.

The Mobile-IMPACT solution extends the reach of authorized users to handheld devices for monitoring, managing and/or controlling of IT/network and physical security. Allowing authorized users to view and control access events while not in their office and logged into their console, mobility within and outside of a facility or campus organization no longer requires a laptop computer. Abstract: A cornhole court including a floor and spaced-apart board registration features printed and/or connected to the floor for providing spacing and alignment (and optionally removable engagement of cornhole boards to the floor) at a preconfigured spacing. In some examples, the spacing between front ends of the boards is about 27 feet. Abstract: A protector for a coupler for connecting a drive shaft of an implement to a tractor power take-off (PTO) comprises an elongated shaft having a proximal end and a distal end. The shaft may include a plurality of splines formed around a circumference of the shaft which extend longitudinally along the shaft from the distal end toward the proximal end. The splines may be arranged for meshing engagement with internal splines within a bore of the coupler. A grease zerk fitting may be disposed at the proximal end of the shaft through which grease can be extruded. A channel may extend through the shaft from the proximal end toward the distal end that is in fluid communication with the grease zerk fitting. A plurality of exit ports may be disposed around the circumference of the shaft at one or more positions along the length of the shaft, which are in fluid communication with the channel.

Abstract: In one example, a system comprises a central unit and a radiating point located remotely from the central unit and communicatively coupled to the central unit. The radiating point is configured to provide radio frequency signals to a coverage zone via one or more antennas. The system further comprises a radar sensor communicatively coupled to the radiating point and configured to capture image data in the coverage zone of the radiating point, wherein the radar sensor includes a plurality of transmitters and receivers coupled to an antenna array. One or more components of the system are configured to determine user detection data for users in the coverage zone based on the image data captured by the radar sensor and adjust the power consumption of the radiating point based on the user detection data.
