Abstract: Among other things, this document describes a computer-implemented method for storing and retrieving information about the locations of objects. The method can include receiving a first query that includes one or more terms identifying an object. The first query can be determined to include a command to store location information for the object. The first query can be parsed to determine identifying information for the object, and a location can be determined for the object. The method further includes identifying one or more attributes of the object that are not specified in the first query, and causing a first set of data to be stored that characterizes the identifying information for the objet, the location of the object, and the one or more attributes of the object.

  • Patent number: 10779906
Abstract: A cleaning device for lumens includes a plurality of microfiber tails and a flexible leader. The microfiber tails are elongated, flat tails having substantially the same length and width. At two ends of the tails, the width of the tails tapers to form a cone shape. The microfiber tails are oriented in planar parallel relationship to one another or layered on top of one another when laid on a flat surface. The flexible leader has a first end and a second end, the second end of the flexible leader is adapted to be fed through the lumen and pulled by the first end thereof through the lumen, with the microfiber tails also being adapted to be pulled through the lumen due to its being coupled to the second end of the flexible leader.

  • Patent number: 10783551
Abstract: A method for representing and managing an inventory of overlapping multi-dimensional items such as advertising or ad impressions. The method uses an inventory management module to generate unique segment identifiers for sets of inventory items by processing descriptions of the sets of impressions including defining criteria. The method includes processing the unique segment identifiers to create a representation of the inventory as a plurality of inventory regions, which may include non-overlapping regions that correspond to inventory items in a single set of the inventory and also include overlapping regions that correspond to inventory items in two or more of the sets (e.g., items that match two or more sets of defining criteria or attributes). Availability and selection of inventory is determined using the information on inventory regions to control effects of cannibalization, such as by implementing logically necessary allocation to only cannibalize a region on a limited or forced basis.

  • Patent number: 10779521
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure can provide an automated mass rearing system for insect larvae. The automated mass rearing system can facilitate hatching, feeding, monitoring the growth and emergence of insect larvae and pupae. In some embodiments, the automated mass rearing system can include a production unit, a transportation unit, a storage unit, a dispensing unit, and a monitoring unit. In some embodiments, this automated mass rearing system can facilitate mass mosquito growth from egg hatching all the way through to full adults or certain stages in between such as the larvae rearing process (i.e., from larvae to pupae) with little or no human intervention. By automating the rearing and transportation of insect eggs, larvae, and pupae, deaths or developmental issues can be minimized. Various techniques and apparatuses are used in this automation that causes minimal disturbance to the insects during development, and thereby maximizing survival rate and fitness of the insects.

  • Patent number: 10783392
Abstract: Motion compensation in a systems for transmission of images via channels of communication with a limited capacity by means of application of compression of the images. A technical result consists in an increase of the compression degree upon encoding such that a high degree of compression is provided without an increase in the computational power of the encoding device and without additional distortion upon decoding. The result is obtained in part by the usage of a more effective method of interpolation of restored subsamples, employing an adaptive and applicative set of samples, which are used to restore a quantized signal. Use of this set of samples facilitates an improvement in an accuracy of the interpolation.

  • Patent number: 10785425
Abstract: An image sensor may include an array of imaging pixels. Each imaging pixel may have a photodiode that generates charge in response to incident light, a floating diffusion region, and a transfer transistor that transfers charge from the photodiode to the floating diffusion region. Each floating diffusion region may have an associated capacitance formed by a depletion region between n-type and p-type regions in a semiconductor substrate. To enable selective binning in the voltage domain, a number of transistors may be coupled to the floating diffusion capacitors. A first plurality of pixels may selectively couple the floating diffusion capacitors to ground. A second plurality of pixels may selective couple the floating diffusion capacitors to the floating diffusion capacitors of adjacent pixels. The voltages of multiple floating diffusion capacitors may be non-destructively binned on a single floating diffusion capacitor during readout.
