Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a fiber optic adapter holder that includes a base member and a plurality of upright arms that extend upwardly from the base member. The plurality of upright arms together may define a pocket region that has an open, U-shape. A fiber optic adapter may be received in the open, U-shaped pocket region of the fiber optic adapter holder. When the fiber optic adapter is mounted within the pocket region of the fiber optic adapter holder, a height of the fiber optic adapter holder may be lower than or equal to a height of the fiber optic adapter.
Abstract: A graph-based data storage and retrieval system in which multiple subgraphs representing respective datasets in different namespaces are interconnected via a linking or “canonical” layer. Datasets represented by subgraphs in different namespaces may pertain to a particular information domain (e.g., the health care domain), and may include heterogeneous datasets. The canonical layer provides for a substantial reduction of graph complexity required to interconnect corresponding nodes in different subgraphs, which in turn offers advantages as the number of subgraphs (and the number of corresponding nodes in different subgraphs) increases for the particular domain(s) of interest.

Abstract: Thermoformed polymeric foam articles and methods of forming the same are described. In some embodiments, thermoformed articles are produced from multi-layer foamed sheet where the formed article has a density equal to or less than the precursor multi-layer sheet. One of the layers of the thermoformed article may be a polymer foam layer having a density reduction between 5% and 50% as compared to the solid polymer. Such polymer foam layers can be referred to as “medium density” or “high density” foams. Advantageously, the methods described herein are practical for commercial use and, for example, can be used to produce a variety of thermoformed articles suitable for use in many different applications.

Abstract: An encoder configured to generate an encoded bitstream for decoding by a compatible decoder, wherein the decoder receives the encoded bitstream with a current picture including a current block having a first partition boundary partitioning the block into first and second non-rectangular regions and a second partition boundary, intersecting the first partition boundary, and partitioning the second non-rectangular region into three portions. Using the encoded bitstream, the decoder determines a first predictor for use within the first non-rectangular region using a first motion vector selected from a first list of motion vector candidates, determines a second predictor for use within the second non-rectangular region using a second motion vector selected from a second list of motion vector candidates; and decodes the current block using the first predictor and the second predictor. Decoding further includes smoothing the first predictor and the second predictor across the first partition boundary.
