Abstract: A game board including a top panel and a plank and a game that comprises one or more of the game boards. A plank extends from the back end of the game board. The top surface of the game board is flat and includes a surrounding area and one or more target areas. A projectile comprising a weighted ball is thrown by players onto the top panel or plank surface. A method for playing the game involves two to four players who will throw or roll the balls to land on the desired location of the top panel or plank area to score points toward winning the game. The game includes multiple rounds.

Abstract: System, process, and device configurations are provided for game object rendering control with eye tracking data. A method can include detecting at least one focus position of a user using eye tracking data, identifying at least one object of the gaming content using the focus position, controlling rendering of the at least one object of the gaming content, and updating presentation of the gaming content to include the modified object. Modifications may include the addition of a highlight element, border, and change in presentation format for the at least one object, including blurring, fading or color saturation for a game object. Modifications can also include at least one of filtering and minimizing display elements of the gaming content. Processes are also provided for analyzing a facial expression of a user to detect at least one gesture and control modification to gaming content.

Abstract: Orthogonal IL-21 receptors and orthogonal IL-21 cytokines are described. The IL-21 receptor-cytokine pairs may include an orthogonal interleukin-21 receptor ? chain (“ortho-IL-21R?”) that has impaired binding to native interleukin-21 cytokine (“IL-21”) and an orthogonal IL-21 cytokine (“ortho-IL-21”) that has impaired binding to native IL-21R?, wherein the ortho-IL-21R? binds to the ortho-IL-21. The IL-21 receptor-cytokine pair may activate IL-21 signaling. Cells engineered to express the orthogonal IL-21 receptors are also described, as well as methods for using such cells for treatment of various diseases and disorders.

Abstract: A system for displaying information via a smart ring can include a ring band. The system for displaying information via a smart ring also can include at least one processor disposed within the ring band. The at least one processor disposed within the ring can be configured to identify a user of the smart ring. The at least one processor disposed within the ring further can be configured to analyze the data to identify a condition. The system for displaying information via a smart ring further can include a display disposed at least partially in, at least partially on, or coupled to the ring band and communicatively coupled to the processor. Furthermore, the at least one processor disposed within the ring can be configured to cause the display to present information indicative of the condition. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Automatic methods and robotic system for processing workpieces are provided. A method for locally re-shaping a moldable workpiece includes receiving data in an input module indicating a present form of the workpiece; providing a robot configured to pass the workpiece through a machine; determining, with a control module, a path of the robot based on the present form of the workpiece and a target form of the workpiece; and performing a finishing process by passing, with the robot, the workpiece through the machine along the path, wherein the machine re-shapes the workpiece with the target form.

Abstract: A system and method for video and feature coding of neural-network structures used for multi-task machine learning includes an encoder, decoder and a decoder-compliant bitstream. A task-specific video decoder includes a first decoder receiving a bitstream having at least one feature and a description of a neural network backbone used to generate the bitstream, and a task-specific neural network head. The neural network head recreates the neural network backbone from the description, receives a feature from the bitstream a generates a task-specific output.

Abstract: A method including, at a camera, detecting motion in a field of view of the camera using a motion sensor, initiating processing of video data corresponding to the field of view in which the motion was detected, ceasing the processing after a first time duration, and determining a cool-off period for the motion sensor, the cool-off period having a second time duration based on the first time duration during which the camera does not detect motion using the motion sensor.

Abstract: A body for a motor vehicle facilitates replacement of a vehicle roof by another roof of the same type or a different type. The body defines a roof opening having a roof frame arranged around the roof opening with a reinforcing profile around the periphery of the opening. A roof seal is supported by the reinforcing profile and has a highest point higher than immediately adjacent regions of the roof frame on the side of the roof seal facing away from the roof opening. The body has a closed state with the roof releasably fastened to the roof frame in contact with the roof seal over the entire periphery from above and an open state in which the roof is no longer fastened to the roof frame and is displaced from the closed state upwardly and away from the roof seal for replacement of the roof with another.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for determining contextual objects related to web content. Web content may include one or more elements, which may be extracted from the web content and analyzed to identify any contextual objects. The web content elements may be hyperlink elements, and contextual objects may be identified based on the hyperlink elements. A dominant entity may be identified for the web content, and contextual objects relating to the dominant entity may be identified. When a request for web content is received, contextual objects may be provided with the requested content. Personalized contextual objects may be selected from the identified contextual objects based on data associated with the request for web content. Selection of a contextual object may result in navigation to a browsing environment associated with the selected contextual object.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media for provisioning transaction cards to multiple merchants from a single access point are described. For example, a method may include receiving a payment card number request, sending a contactless payment card step-up authentication request to the user device, receiving, from the user device, encrypted authentication information obtained from the contactless payment card in response to the contactless payment card step-up request, authenticating the encrypted authentication information received from the user device, granting a token to identify a communication session established with the merchant, which may enable a continued exchange of data with the merchant, and using the token to identify the respective communication session established with the merchant, providing account information to the merchant to associate a respective merchant account with a user of the contactless payment card.

Abstract: A mobile device system comprising a global positioning satellite processor to locate a position of the mobile device, a mobile display interface for displaying at least one event and the position on a map and an event processor coupled to a server and a remote database and to filter at least one event in the mobile display interface, wherein the at least one filtered event includes a destination and is filtered from a plurality of categories based on selected criteria, wherein a collection of events is selected from the database based on the selected criteria, and displayed on the map as the destination.

Abstract: A sport flooring system designed and installed to reduce fatigue on a user. The sport flooring system includes a floor surface layer that is supported above a substrate layer and is designed for use in playing or practicing an athletic event or game. The floor surface layer is supported by a plurality of a first type of shock absorbing pads and a plurality of a second type of shock absorbing pads where the second type of shock absorbing are less hard and provide greater cushioning compared to the first type of shock absorbing pads. The first and second shock absorbing pads are organized to define at least one first zone and at least one second zone. The second zone provides greater cushioning to the user compared to the first zone to reduce fatigue to the user when playing or practicing on the sport flooring system.

The disclosure relates to the seeds of garden bean variety ‘Kestrel’, to the plants of garden bean variety ‘Kestrel’, and to methods for producing a bean plant by crossing the garden bean variety ‘Kestrel’ with itself or another bean line. The disclosure further relates to methods for producing a bean plant containing in its genetic material one or more transgenes and to the transgenic plants produced by that method and to methods for producing other garden bean lines derived from the garden bean variety ‘Kestrel’.

Abstract: Encryption is performed at the field level within a data object, in response to an encryption indicator. Encrypted fields are nulled or zeroed out and the encrypted values are stored in encryption metadata with a path identifying the locations of the encrypted fields. An encrypted data key is appended with a decryption identifier and stored in the encryption metadata. The encrypted data object may be reformatted while encrypted. The encrypted data key is extracted from the encryption metadata and the decryption identifier is used to identify a master key used to decrypt the encrypted data key. The data key is used to decrypt the encrypted values and the decrypted values are stored in the fields identified by the paths.

The latch can include first and second circuits each having first and second inputs to receive a differential input signal and first and second outputs to output a differential output signal. An offset structure includes a bandgap reference circuit with a first current source and a resistor, wherein the offset compensation structure provides a stable threshold for an input signal on the first and second inputs.

Abstract: Approaches to classifying text-based content are described herein. For example, a classification system performs operations that include receiving text-based content comprising a plurality of characters, generating a plurality of character category sequences using the plurality of characters and based on a plurality of predefined character categories, calculating a frequency distribution of the plurality of character category sequences, and classifying the text-based content based on the calculated frequency distribution. The classifying uses a machine learning model that has been trained using a plurality of examples of text-based content. Responsive to the classification, the system can take appropriate actions. For example, responsive to classifying the text-based content as unsolicited, the system can restrict distribution of the text-based content or generate an alert for the text-based content.

Abstract: Antenna systems for near-eye devices are described which include multiple resonance sections fed by a single parasitic element. In one example, an antenna has multiple resonance sections which include an open-ended slot antenna section that resonates within a 2.4 GHz frequency band. In one example, the antenna has a monopole section and a dipole section which both resonate within a 5 GHz to 7 GHz frequency band. In one example, a floating dipole is created by locating an open-ended slot antenna parallel to a monopole antenna, where both antennas share the same electrical feed. In one example, multiple resonance sections on one side of a printed circuit board (PCB) are simultaneously electrically fed by a single parasitic element on the other side of the PCB.

Abstract: An article comprises a tube having peripheral areas, including an upper section, a lower section, an inner section, and an outer section, the tube further comprising a tube wall having an inner layer and an outer layer, the inner layer being a semipermeable membrane that is permeable to vapors but impermeable to liquids and the outer layer being a nonwoven fabric, and the tube further comprising at least one inlet port integrated into the tube wall to permit the flow of an activated or activatable foamable composition into the tube interior, wherein the tube further has a plurality of holes that penetrate through the inner and outer layers of the tube to allow expanding foam to both fill the interior of the tube and exit the tube and fill a space exterior to the tube.

Abstract: A safety signaling system comprises a panel including an HMI for setting first operator safety condition to one of VOTE and NO VOTE, a first optical transceiver for connection to a first optical fiber and a second optical transceiver for connection to a second optical fiber. Panel control circuitry connected between HMI and first transceiver activates first transceiver to transmit continuous wave (CW) light signal into first optical fiber only while HMI sets first operator safety condition to VOTE. A remote interface includes a third optical transceiver for connection to first optical fiber, a fourth optical transceiver for connection to second optical fiber, and remote interface control circuitry connected to third transceiver.
