Abstract: The present invention enables a user to share his/her listening experience selectively with others without sharing headphones and without disturbing others who do not want to listen. In a preferred embodiment, a first listener can accomplish this by storing in a Portable Electronic Device or similar device a library of listening experiences, listening to one of the listening experiences, and while listening to that one listening experience streaming the one listening experience to at least one other Portable Electronic Device or similar device. A second listener at the other Portable Electronic Device can then listen to the same listening experience as the first listener at the same time. It is expected that the listening experiences will typically be songs or other music but the invention may be practiced with any type of audio content. The first listener may also create a playlist of the listening experiences in the library and make the playlist available to others.

Abstract: The single-channel, Speech Features-Based Voice Activity Detection (SFVAD) system is a robust, low-latency system that generates per-frame speech and noise indications, along with calculating a pair of speech and noise time-frequency masks. The SFVAD system controls an adaptation mechanism for a Beam-Forming system control module and improves the speech quality and noise reduction capabilities of Automatic Speech Recognition applications, such as Virtual Assistance (VA) and Hands-Free (HF) calls, by robustly handling transient noises. The system extracts speech-like patterns from an input audio signal and it is invariant to the power-level of the input audio signal. Noise calculation is controlled by a pair of speech features-based detectors (voiced and unvoiced). A Cepstral-based pitch detector and a Centrum calculation method are used to prevent contamination of the calculated noise by speech content.

Abstract: A prismatic battery cell assembly has a prismatic container that includes a body portion composed of opposed first and second side portions, opposed first and second end portions, a bottom portion, and a top portion. An electrode stack is composed as anodes interleaved with cathodes. Each of the anodes includes a first current collector having an uncoated anode current collector portion that extends in a first direction away from the electrode stack, and each of the cathodes includes a second current collector having an uncoated cathode current collector portion that extends in a second direction away from the electrode stack. A first terminal is joined to the uncoated anode current collector portions of the first current collectors of the anodes, and a terminal is joined to the uncoated cathode current collector portions of the second current collectors of the cathodes.

The siloxane solvent can be used in any situation where one desires to remove a silicone deposit, e.g., conformal coatings, adhesives, sealants, greases, heat transfer fluids, paints, oils, etc.

The processing circuitry is configured to receive a bitstream that includes displacement information and base mesh information of a mesh in a current mesh frame. The processing circuitry is configured to determine a plurality of wavelet coefficients packed in a plurality of two-dimensional (2D) blocks of a 2D image based on the displacement information. The processing circuitry is configured to unpack the plurality of wavelet coefficients packed from the plurality of 2D blocks based on levels of detail of the plurality of wavelet coefficients. The processing circuitry is configured to determine a plurality of displacements of the mesh in the current mesh frame based on the unpacked plurality of wavelet coefficients. The plurality of displacements is associated with a base mesh and the mesh in the current mesh frame, and the base mesh includes a subset of a plurality of vertices of the mesh.

Each tapered shoulder defines an angle relative to the central axis of the internal bore. Further, each tapered shoulder forms a race dimensioned and configured to receive roller bearings. Abstract: A side pocket mandrel for use within a gas lift system has a central body that includes a central bore and a valve pocket that is offset from the central body. The valve pocket includes a power landing in the valve pocket and configured to provide an electrical connection to the electric gas lift valve and a conductor connected to the power landing and configured to provide electric power to the power landing. The side pocket mandrel further includes a pneumatic gas lift valve installed within the valve pocket and an electric gas lift valve installed within the valve pocket. The electric gas lift valve and pneumatic gas lift valve can be installed or retrieved from the valve pocket using wireline-based tools without removing the side pocket mandrel from the well.
