Patent number: 12355786Abstract: A computing system generates from received user input an initial profile. The initial profile specifies expected behavioral patterns of datasets that are to be received by the computing system. The computing system extracts from received datasets features that are indicative of behavioral patterns of the received datasets. The computing system provides the initial profile to first machine-learning models. The first machine-learning models have been trained using a subset of the received datasets. The first machine-learning models use the initial profile to determine if the behavioral patterns of the received datasets are anomalous. The computing system includes second machine-learning models that have been trained using a subset of the received datasets. The second machine-learning models train a second profile based on the extracted features to specify behavioral patterns of the received datasets that are learned by the second machine-learning model.Type: GrantFiled: June 14, 2022Date of Patent: July 8, 2025Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Andrey Karpovsky, Idan Hen

Patent number: 12356573Abstract: The present document describes a camera device with an adjustable stand. The camera device includes a head assembly and a stand assembly pivotally connected together by a stem forming a hinge. The stem provides a 360-degree range of pan and a 45-degree range of tilt of the head assembly relative to the stand assembly. The stand assembly is rotatably movable relative to the head assembly to configure the camera device in different configuration states, including a tabletop state and a wall state. The tabletop state has a low profile for resting on a horizontal surface, and the wall state has a high profile, which provides additional clearance between the head assembly and a vertical surface to which the stand assembly is affixed. In the wall state, a cable of the camera device can be routed through and constrained by the stand assembly.Type: GrantFiled: August 2, 2021Date of Patent: July 8, 2025Assignee: Google LLCInventor: Cindy Au Ngoc-Tran

Patent number: 12354346Abstract: Described is a system for anomaly detection from hyperspectral data. The system receives, from a hyperspectral sensor, input hyperspectral data cubes with input data bands for every pixel. Using an optimization technique, an optimized number of virtual bands is determined to use for combining the hyperspectral data cubes to achieve optimal anomaly detection performance. The optimized number of virtual bands is less than the input data bands, resulting in reduced hyperspectral data. The hyperspectral data cubes are combined into the optimized number of virtual bands with the optimal bandwidth for each virtual band, and a set of combined hyperspectral data is output. Anomalies are detected in the set of combined hyperspectral data using an anomaly detection technique. Based on the detected anomalies, single-pixel or subpixel targets of interest are detected in the combined hyperspectral data.Type: GrantFiled: May 13, 2022Date of Patent: July 8, 2025Assignee: HRL LABORATORIES, LLCInventors: Qin Jiang, Yuri Owechko

Patent number: 12352953Abstract: In an example, an optical system includes a fiber, a detector, and a gradient-index (GRIN) lens assembly. The GRIN lens assembly is positioned between the fiber and the detector and couples light from an exit aperture of the fiber onto the detector. The spot size of light exiting the fiber is larger than a spot size of light exiting the GRIN lens assembly. Additionally, the spot area of light exiting the GRIN lens assembly may be smaller than a sensing area of the detector. Among other advantages, the GRIN lens assembly increases the amount of light coupled onto the detector from the fiber. Additionally, the GRIN lens assembly may make the optical system more robust against vibrations (and other factors) that change the energy distribution of light exiting the fiber.Type: GrantFiled: August 11, 2022Date of Patent: July 8, 2025Assignee: OneLight Sensing, LLCInventors: Michael G.
