The microphone assembly also includes a cap disposed over and separated from the base by a gap. The cap includes a domed portion that has a convex shape that curves away from the second surface of the base. The microphone assembly also includes a microphone array that includes a plurality of microphones. The microphone array is disposed within the cap and is configured to receive acoustic signals from the external environment through the gap.

The controls are configured to accept user input comprising instructions to the surgical robotic system, including an instruction to open the jaws of the end effector, which can then be loaded with another staple cartridge assembly.

    Abstract: A lane departure detection system detects that an autonomous driving vehicle (ADV) is departing from the lane in which the ADV is driving based on sensor data captured when the ADV contact a deceleration curb such as a speed bump laid across the lane. When the ADV contacts the deceleration curb, the lane departure detection system detects and calculates an angle of a moving direction of the ADV vs a longitudinal direction of the deceleration curb. Based on the angle, the system calculates how much the moving direction of the ADV is off compared to a lane direction of the lane. The lane direction is typically substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the deceleration curb. A control command such as a speed control command and/or a steering control command is generated based on the angle to correct the moving direction of the ADV.

At least one of an aperture length of the nodes and a spacing between the nodes is a variable parameter. A processor activates a transmitter of the radar array to generate a test pulse, receive, at a receiver of the radar array, a reflection of the test pulse from an object, and determines an angular location of the object from the reflection of the test pulse. A trajectory of the vehicle can be changed using the determined angular location of the object.

The strand-feed mechanism includes a solenoid actuated plunger within a shaft of the cutter-spindle assembly.
