Abstract: A method for classifying a document using identified patterns includes determining frequent patterns based on a group of resources, where the frequent patterns include sets of words associated with resources that are related to a particular topic; determining frequent anti-patterns based on another group of resources, where the frequent anti-patterns include sets of words associated with resources that are not related to the particular topic, where the second group of resources is different from the first group of resources; determining a probability that the document is related to the particular topic based on the frequent patterns and the frequent anti-patterns; and determining a topic classification of the document based on the determined probability.
Abstract: A system and method for determining and tracking a location of a participant traveling along a route wherein the participant being tracked with a radio frequency tag using a radio frequency tag reader and a timing system, the system includes a location device associated with the tag and has a location data receiver for receiving location information from a location providing source, and a wireless communication interface and time stamps each received location information, and transmits tag location data over the wireless interface, and a location detection device that is in wireless communication with the location device receives the transmitted tag location data, and transmits the received location data to the timing system, with the timing system associating the received location data with the tag number as provided by the tag reader provided tag reads of the tag associated with the location device.
Abstract: Examples are disclosed that relate to representing a digital project file. One example provides a computing device comprising a logic device and a storage device holding instructions executable to obtain a digital project file comprising a geometric representation of a real physical space, and a user-created annotation associated with a location in the representation. The instructions are further executable to display a representation of the file in a first rendering format, receive a request to display a representation of the file in a second rendering format in which one or more real surfaces of the real physical space are displayed as a virtual rendering, the one or more real surfaces not being displayed as the virtual rendering the first digital rendering format, and, in response to the request, display the representation of the file in the second format.

Abstract: Embodiments provide a pre-cut infeed system for a machine center, such as an edger. A pre-cut infeed system may include an infeed, one or more saws arranged along the infeed, and a scanner optimizer system. The scanner optimizer system may scan a workpiece and determine whether greater value can be obtained from the workpiece by cutting the workpiece transversely into two or more pieces upstream of the machine center. If so, the workpiece may be cut transversely by the saw(s) positioned along the infeed, and the cut pieces may be fed sequentially into the machine center.
Abstract: A digital repeater system for repeating RF signals comprises: a receiving section for receiving an RF input signal, the RF input signal comprising at least one frequency band including a multiplicity of subbands associated with a multiplicity of communication channels; and at least one transmitting section for transmitting the RF output signal. The receiving section is constituted to digitize the RF input signal to obtain a digital input signal and to isolate, within the digital input signal, the multiplicity of subbands from each other to obtain a multiplicity of digital subband signals. The at least one transmitting section is constituted to combine the digital subband signals to obtain a digital output signal and to convert the digital output signal to an RF output signal.
Abstract: A security system control panel or home automation control panel including an end-user replaceable cellular telephony module that is removable from the control panel without disassembling the control panel. The cellular module includes a body, a cellular telephony circuit coupled to the body, a cellular telephony antenna coupled to the body and the cellular telephony circuit, and a first connector coupled to the cellular telephony circuit and the body, wherein the first connector is sized and shaped or otherwise configured to be removably engaged by the end-user with a second connector in the control panel.

Abstract: A conveyor system includes a plurality of crawler members, a frame supported via the crawler members, a skid pad moveable relative to the frame to raise and lower the frame relative to a ground surface, and an intake structure supported by the frame. The intake structure includes a first conveyor. The conveyor system further includes a discharge boom supported by the frame. The discharge boom includes a second conveyor.
Abstract: A nozzle assembly and adapter provided for selectively interconnecting to a soft serve dispenser to allow filling of farinaceous products such as donuts with a soft serve product. One of the adapter and the nozzle assembly can include a cleansing port for receiving a cleaning solution to allow periodic cleaning of the nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly is separable from the adapter to permit the adapter to remain operably connected to the soft serve dispenser through which soft serve product can be dispensed.
Abstract: A slow response time tool including a biasing arrangement, a piston in operable communication with the biasing arrangement, a chamber receptive to the piston, a retardation arrangement defining a helical pathway in fluid communication with the chamber.

Abstract: A riveted joint comprising: an upper workpiece and a lower workpiece, and a self-piercing rivet. The rivet in an undeformed state, before the creation of the riveted joint, included: a head defining a head diameter (DH); a shank defining a shank diameter (DS); and a foot end opposite the head. Radially outward at the foot end is a flat surface facing away from the head; and an axial recess located radially inward of the flat surface, partly defined in the foot end, open axially away from the head, and frustoconical in longitudinal cross section. The axial recess defining an axial depth (LB). The ratio of recess axial depth (LB) to shank diameter (DS) is less than 0.3. And in a deformed state, after the creation of the riveted joint, the rivet extends through the first workpiece and penetrates the second workpiece; and the head bears against the upper surface.

Abstract: Provided is an apparatus and method for a digital power supply that can provide independent power control for two or more electrical loads. Some disclosed embodiments provide continuous, variable power and other disclosed embodiments provide discrete power levels. Disclosed embodiments may reduce the magnitude of harmonic currents and/or flicker introduced into a power system. Embodiments include a microprocessor that delivers power to electric loads using phase-controlled AC current. In some embodiments, the microprocessor may calculate a power array corresponding to a requested power for each electric load. Logic is provided for populating the power array in a pattern that reduces the magnitude of harmonic currents and flicker. Portions of the disclosure include a band controller for delivering power to achieve and maintain a desired target temperature, and a wireless controller for controlling temperature from a remote device.
