Abstract: An emergency guidance and advisement system is provided to automatically determine a floor map of a building and using the floor map for advising how to exit the building during an emergency, such as a fire. The system can automatically create an escape plan, based on pre-disaster and in-disaster motion detection of users within the home, and provide dynamic advisement to guide users out of the home during an emergency.
Abstract: Embodiments of hybrid network processing load distribution in a computing device are disclosed therein. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, at a main processor, an indication from the network interface controller to perform network processing operations for first and second packets in a queue of a virtual port of the network interface controller, and in response to receiving the request, assigning first and second cores for performing the network processing operations for the first and second packets, respectively. The method also includes performing the network processing operations at the first and second cores to effect processing and transmission of the first and second packets to first and second applications, respectively, both the first and second applications executing in a virtual machine hosted on the computing device.

The seed meter assembly has at least one seed plate disposed within a housing and a vacuum assembly having a single vacuum port connection in the housing. Abstract: Techniques for inter-host communication may include issuing a first message from a first host; and sending the first message from the first host to a second host. Sending the first message may include transmitting the first message indirectly to the second host over a first connection between a first data storage system and a second data storage system. The first connection may be used in connection with data replication to maintain a first device of the first data storage system and a second device of the second data storage system as synchronous mirrored copies of a first logical device. Multiple logical devices configured for synchronous replication may be used for inter-host communication. Alternatively, a single logical device configured for synchronous replication may be used for inter-host communication.
Abstract: A method includes detecting different data patterns in data read from a portion of a non-transitory data storage medium. Bit errors in the different data patterns are then determined. Further, bits in error for a total number of bits in each of the different data patterns are calculated from the determined bit errors in the different data patterns.

In one embodiment the system includes a seller device, a server system, counselor device, and one or more home listing websites. Abstract: A method for forming an electronic device includes providing a wafer having a plurality of die formed as part of the wafer and separated from each other by spaces. A layer of material is disposed atop a major surface of the wafer and the layer of material is placed adjacent to first carrier substrate comprising a first adhesive layer. The wafer is singulated through the spaces to form singulation lines. A second carrier substrate comprising a second adhesive layer is placed onto an opposite major surface of the wafer. The method includes moving a mechanical device adjacent to and in a direction generally parallel to one of the first carrier substrate or the second carrier substrate to separate the layer of material in the singulation lines. In one example, the second adhesive layer has an adhesive strength that is less than that of the first adhesive layer.
Abstract: In an embodiment, a computer-implemented method presents a dynamically configured electronic health record system. In the method, registration information associated with a medical service provider is received for registering with an electronic health record system. A rules database is queried for a rule associated with the received registration information. Based on the rule, configuration information for the provider is generated and a user interface is transmitted to the provider based on the configuration information.

Abstract: The present describes low latency streaming using temporal frame transformation. An execution component in an edge server executes a first instance of an application. A server interface component receives, from a remote server, a resolution delta frame indicating differences between a high resolution first frame and a low resolution first frame of a second instance of the application or, alternatively, receives the high resolution first frame. A video manipulation component generates a motion delta frame by identifying differences between a low resolution first frame and a low resolution second frame of the first instance of the application. The video manipulation component generates a high resolution transformed frame by applying the resolution delta frame and the motion delta frame to the low resolution second frame.

Abstract: Disclosed are passive reflector radio communications systems, such as for UHF frequencies or greater than UHF frequencies, and related deployment systems and devices that provide underground communications. Embodiments of the system include reflector elements to provide passive radio communications, structural frameworks to support and orient the reflector elements, methods for calculating reflector size, shape, and position corresponding to a desired wavelength, and deployment methods and devices to install the communication system at a desired location. The passive reflectors can be placed in a folded or otherwise compact mode, for transport into underground tunnels. Once at the desired installation location, the system can be installed, with the reflectors positioned appropriately for the radio frequencies used at the location.

Abstract: Providing backup digital certificates comprises an application provider, such as a digital wallet system, that obtains signed digital certificates from a certificate authority. The digital wallet system provides an application, such as a digital wallet application, to a user computing devise along with a primary digital certificate and a backup digital certificate. The user computing device utilizes the primary digital certificate to ensure a secure connection with the digital wallet system. If the primary digital certificate is compromised, the digital wallet system may communicate the backup digital certificate to the digital wallet system when a subsequent secure connection is requested. The user computing device may access the backup digital certificate and verify the provided digital certificate. The digital wallet system provides a new backup digital certificate to the user computing device, and the user computing device deletes the compromised digital certificate.

Abstract: A hybrid drivetrain for a vehicle may include a co-drive manipulator having a first input configured to be driven by an internal combustion engine, and a second input configured to be driven by a first electric machine. The hybrid drivetrain may also include a selective booster having first and second planetary gearsets, each of the first and second planetary gearsets having a rotating component secured for rotation with a rotatable shaft driven by the co-drive manipulator, such that a rotational input received at the second planetary gearset from a second electric machine selectively drives the output shaft with a plurality of gear ratios including at least a speed reduction gear ratio and a speed increasing gear ratio.
