Abstract: An inductor and method for making the same are provided. The inductor includes a coil formed from a conductor and having a serpentine shape. The coil may have an “S”-shape. The coil has two leads extending from opposite ends of the coil. An inductor body surrounds the coil and portions of the leads. The leads may be wrapped around the body to create contact points on the exterior of the inductor.

Abstract: A method for forming a trench diode for a power semiconductor device includes forming a first trench having a first opening and a second trench having a second opening in a substrate material, the second opening of the second trench being wider than the first opening of the first trench. An insulating layer is formed over surfaces of the first and second trenches. A first semiconductor material is provided within the first and second trenches, the first semiconductor material filling the first trench at least until the first opening is entirely plugged and partially filling the second trench so that a portion of the second opening remains open, the first semiconductor material having a first conductivity type. A second semiconductor material is provided within the second trench and over the first semiconductor material, the second semiconductor material having a second conductivity type that is different from the first conductivity type.

Abstract: A load control device is configured to generate a control signal having a desired magnitude for controlling a load regulation device adapted to control the power delivered to an electrical load. The load control device may comprise a control terminal arranged to provide the control signal to the load regulation device, a communication circuit for generating the control signal, and a control circuit configured to generate an output signal that is provided to the communication circuit. The communication circuit may be characterized by non-linear operation. The control circuit may adjust the magnitude of the output signal in response to the difference between the magnitude of the control signal and the desired magnitude to adjust the magnitude of the control signal towards the desired magnitude. The control circuit may also be configured to determine if an incompatible load regulation device is coupled to the load control device.

The apparatus includes a liquid topping dispenser assembly having liquid dispensing faucets that are operable by a customer outside the kiosk to dispense liquid toppings onto the frozen confection. The liquid topping dispenser assembly is mounted onto a sidewall of the kiosk such that an open space is formed. A gasket assembly is positioned within the open space.

Abstract: A jump rope device includes a connection assembly having a male connecting member and a female connecting member. The male connecting member includes a head having at least one locking projection. The female connecting member defines an opening configured to receive at least a portion of the male connecting member into an internal cavity. The female connecting member includes at least one locking arm that is biased into a first position, and configured to move from the first position into a second position when the male connecting member is inserted into the opening. The at least one locking arm is configured to return to the first position following insertion of the male connecting member to thereby create a secure connection between male and female connecting members.

The online session is associated with the discovery range requirement by which the online session is selectively discoverable by the devices. The data processing device determines an access metric representing interactions related to the online session, and adjusts the discovery range requirement based on the determined access metric such that the online session is discoverable by more or fewer devices. In one embodiment, an example support sleeve includes a proximal end that defines an arm opening, a distal end, a wall that extends between the proximal end and the distal end, the wall including an anterior side portion and a posterior side portion, and an access port located on the anterior side portion proximate the distal end. The support sleeve may be manipulated between first and second positions, and at least partially maintained in the second position during a medical procedure.

Abstract: Composition, method and system for TiN hard mask removal from electronic circuitry devices, such as advanced pattern wafers have been disclosed. The cleaning compositions preferably comprise an etchant agent (also referred to as a base), an oxidizing agent, an oxidizing stabilizer (also referred to as a chelating agent), an ammonium salt, a corrosion inhibitor, and a solvent. Other optional additives could be provided. It is preferable that the pH of the cleaning composition be greater than 5.5. The cleaning composition is preferably free from dimethyl sulfoxide and tetramethylammonium hydroxide.

Abstract: Use of a NAND array architecture to realize a binary neural network (BNN) allows for matrix multiplication and accumulation to be performed within the memory array. A unit synapse for storing a weight of a BNN is stored in a pair of series connected memory cells. A binary input is applied as a pattern of voltage values on a pair of word lines connected to the unit synapse to perform the multiplication of the input with the weight by determining whether or not the unit synapse conducts. The results of such multiplications are determined by a sense amplifier, with the results accumulated by a counter.
