Abstract: A splice connects segments of coiled tubing and power cable together. The splice has a base and a head, each having an interior conical surface and a collet with fingers that deflect inward in gripping engagement with one of the segments in response to axial movement of the head collet and the base collet. A compression sleeve extends between the base collet and the head collet and exerts forces on the collets while the base and head are being secured together. An insulator tube slides over each of the power conductors. A retainer ring for each insulator tube grips one of the power conductors and abuts a shoulder in the insulator tube to prevent movement of the insulator tube along the power conductor.

Abstract: An agricultural harvester includes a chassis, a threshing and separating system for separating grain from MOG, and a grain cleaning system for further separating grain from residual MOG. The grain cleaning system has a main grain pan beneath the threshing and separating system with the grain pan having openings in its forward and to selectively receive grain from the forward portion of the threshing and separating system. A component beneath the main grain pan directs flow in parallel to the cleaning system either to a pre-sieve within the cleaning system or to an upper sieve.
Abstract: A method of coding a transform block having transform coefficients includes selecting, based on a transform type used for the transform block, a spatial template for a coding context; defining shift registers to each hold one or more stored values regarding the coding context; initializing the shift registers by setting the stored values to default values; and coding values indicative of magnitudes of the transform coefficients from the transform block in a reverse scan order. Coding includes, for each of one or more values, obtaining a value to be coded at a scan position, determining the coding context using the stored values from the shift registers, entropy coding the value to be coded using the coding context, and subsequent to entropy coding the value to be coded, updating at least some of the stored values in the shift registers.
Abstract: According to the invention, there is provided seed and plants of the corn variety designated CV653095. The invention thus relates to the plants, seeds and tissue cultures of the variety CV653095, and to methods for producing a corn plant produced by crossing a corn plant of variety CV653095 with itself or with another corn plant, such as a plant of another variety. The invention further relates to corn seeds and plants produced by crossing plants of variety CV653095 with plants of another variety, such as another inbred line. The invention further relates to the inbred and hybrid genetic complements of plants of variety CV653095.
Abstract: End mount assemblies include a mounting bracket dimensioned for securement to an end member of a gas spring and damper assembly. The end mount assembly can include an inner mounting element dimensioned for securement to an elongated damping rod of the gas spring and damper assembly. A first plurality of bushing elements can be operatively disposed between the inner mounting element and the mounting bracket. A second plurality of bushing elements can be operatively disposed between the inner mounting element and the end member. Gas spring and a damper assemblies including such an end mount assembly as well as suspension systems and methods of assembly are also included.
Abstract: A multi-zone mattress comprising a top layer, an intermediate layer and a bottom layer disposed in substantially parallel relationship relative to each other including a first plurality of zones each having a first firmness profile to support a person thereon separated by a second plurality of zones each having a second firmness profile less than the firmness of the first firmness profile of the first plurality of zones, the first plurality of zones and the second plurality of zones each cooperatively formed by corresponding sections of the top layer, intermediate layer and bottom layer disposed in substantially parallel alignment relative to each other.

Abstract: Improved methods of synthesizing 6-aryl-4-aminopicolinates, such as arylalkyl and alkyl 4-amino-3-chloro-6-(4-chloro-2-fluoro-3-methoxyphenyl)pyridine-2-carboxylates and arylalkyl and alkyl 4-amino-3-chloro-5-fluoro-6-(4-chloro-2-fluoro-3-methoxyphenyl)pyridine-2-carboxylates, are described herein. The improved methods include a direct Suzuki coupling step, which eliminates the protection/de-protection steps in the current chemical process, and therefore eliminates or reduces various raw materials, equipment and cycle time as well as modification of other process conditions including use of crude AP, use of ABA-diMe, and varying pH, catalyst concentration, solvent composition, and/or workup procedures. This includes synthesis of 2-aryl-6-aminopyrimidine-4-carboxylates.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and processes to perform replication between heterogeneous storage systems. Information associated with a backup stream is recorded during a backup operation by a source server and includes instructions. The instructions include an include instruction to include existing data and a write instruction to write new data during a replication operation. A request to perform the replication operation is received. In response to the request, the information is sent to a target server as part of performing the replication operation.
Abstract: The description relates to predicting terms based on text inputted by a user. One example can include a computing device comprising a prediction engine stored at the computing device. In this example, the prediction engine has previously been trained to predict terms from text. The computing device also comprises a secondary memory, for example a hard drive, storing a model used by the prediction engine to compute predicted terms from text. The computing device also comprises a primary memory, for example Random Access Memory (RAM), and a processor. The processor is configured to access one or more chunks of the model from the secondary memory based on the text input and to provide the one or more chunks to the primary memory during execution of the prediction engine.

Abstract: Pattern recognition based on associative pattern memory (APM) and properties of cycles generated by finite cellular automata. APM addresses (e.g., positions in a two dimensional array) represent states. Cycles are repeating sequences of addresses. Each state is mapped to a “randomly” selected region within the input pattern. Each feature extracted from this region determines one of many next states. All next states (one for each feature type) and all sampled regions are assigned to each state randomly upon APM initialization. The process progresses from state to state, sampling regions of the pattern until the state-transition sequence repeats (generates a cycle). Each feature pattern is represented by one cycle, however different cycles can be derived from one pattern depending on the initial state. Some embodiments use a refractory period assuring a minimum cycle length, making it likely that any given pattern yields only one cycle independent of the initial state.
