  • Patent number: 10546051
Abstract: An annotation system for providing annotations for original images is provided. In some embodiments, the annotation system accesses an annotation associated with an object of a 3D model. The annotation system also accesses and displays an original image. The annotation system renders a model image of the 3D model based on the view from which the original image was collected. When the model image contains the annotated object, the annotation system provides an indication that an annotation is associated with the object of the original image. The annotation system can provide indications of the annotation for other original images that include the annotated object irrespective of the view from which the other original images are collected.

  • Patent number: 10544277
Abstract: Gray expanded polystyrene achieving target molecular weight, bead size, bead distribution, and cell structure may be reproducibly prepared by suspension polymerization by introducing to the suspension polymerization an additive that is carbon black and/or graphite only after approximately 20 to 60 wt % of the styrene monomer has been converted to polystyrene. Introducing the additive at this point slows the polymerization rate, such as for an optimized period of time to allow for the droplet size to equilibrate to the desired target range. In one nonlimiting embodiment, the styrene polymerization rate has about 35 wt % to about 60 wt % styrene monomer remaining after about 3 hours from the beginning of polymerizing.

  • Patent number: 10547617
Abstract: Systems and methods here may be used for authorizing network access including using a controller with a processor and memory, the controller in communication with a first network for controlling access to the first network. From a user equipment having a user registered in a visitor network, an access request to access the first network is received, wherein the access request includes a MAC address of the user equipment. Based on a query performed in a subscriber repository, if the received MAC address is not found, a credential request is sent to the user equipment, and a credential is received from the user equipment. A single use code is generated, stored in the subscriber repository, and sent to the user equipment via a trusted channel. A new code and a new credential are received via the visitor network, and are compared. If the new code and the single use code match, the new credential is registered for re-use by the user equipment.

  • Patent number: 10543833
Abstract: A system and method are provided for hybrid electric internal combustion engine applications in which a motor-generator, a narrow switchable coupling and a torque transfer unit therebetween are arranged and positioned in the constrained environment at the front of an engine in applications such as commercial vehicles, off-road vehicles and stationary engine installations. The motor-generator is preferably positioned laterally offset from the switchable coupling, which is co-axially-arranged with the front end of the engine crankshaft. The switchable coupling is an integrated unit in which a crankshaft vibration damper, an engine accessory drive pulley and a disengageable clutch overlap such that the axial depth of the clutch-pulley-damper unit is nearly the same as a conventional belt drive pulley and engine damper. The front end motor-generator system includes an electrical energy store that receives electrical energy generated by the motor-generator when the coupling is engaged.

  • Patent number: 10543822
Abstract: A method of controlling deceleration of a vehicle which includes the steps of sensing the speed of rotation of the output shaft and generating an output shaft speed signal. The method also includes deriving from the output shaft speed signal a deceleration signal indicative of deceleration of the vehicle, and generating in accordance with a selectively effective feedback control scheme a braking command. The method further includes using the output shaft speed signal to calculate a maximum braking power signal and modulating the braking command in dependence on the maximum braking power signal in order to limit the braking power applied in the SAHR brake. The maximum braking power signal is determined in dependence on the heat dissipating capacity of the SAHR brake and is such as to give rise to a constant or approximately constant value of braking power dissipated in the SAHR brake.
