Abstract: A razor includes one or more blades that are directly or indirectly heated by RF energy. A control circuit is connected to and operates a high frequency (HF) generator and a HF power amplifier (HFPA) for generating radio frequency (RF) energy throughout a range of controllable power levels. The generated RF energy is guided by a wave guide from the HFPA to a resonance chamber (i.e., band pass filter cavity). The RF energy is radiated from the resonance chamber towards the one or more blades which absorb the RF energy, thereby causing the temperature of the blades to increase. An energy source provides the electric current required for operating the control circuit, the HF generator and the HFPA. In another embodiment, the RF energy is radiated from the resonance chamber towards a heating element that increases in temperature and heats the blades by thermal conduction.

Abstract: Described herein are polymer compositions including an a functionalized polyolefin, an aliphatic polyamide, and a glass fiber, where the weight ratio of the functionalized polyolefin to the total weight of the aliphatic polyamide and the functionalized polyolefin in the polymer composition (“polyolefin weight ratio”) is from 55% to 95%. It was surprisingly discovered that the polymer compositions had excellent dielectric performance and improved mechanical performance, relative to corresponding polymer compositions. Due to the excellent dielectric performance and increased mechanical performance, the polymer composition can be desirably incorporated into mobile electronic device applications.

Abstract: Methods and systems for low-force, low-temperature thermocompression bonding. The present application teaches new methods and structures for three-dimensional integrated circuits, in which cold thermocompression bonding is used to provide reliable bonding. To achieve this, reduction and passivation steps are preferably both used to reduce native oxide on the contact metals and to prevent reformation of native oxide, preferably using atmospheric plasma treatments. Preferably the physical compression height of the elements is set to be only enough to reliably achieve at least some compression of each bonding element pair, compensating for any lack of flatness. Preferably the thermocompression bonding is performed well below the melting point. This not only avoids the deformation of lower levels which is induced by reflow techniques, but also provides a steep relation of force versus z-axis travel, so that a drastically-increasing resistance to compression helps to regulate the degree of thermocompression.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media can be operable to facilitate an exchange of messages between an access point and a station, wherein the access point requests a unique identifier that meet certain requirements of a unique identifier configuration from the station. The station initiates a secure connection with the access point prior to associating with the access point. The station may either respond with a message declining to provide a unique identifier or respond with a message including a unique identifier, along with a response unique identifier configuration, to be used by the access point for the station via the secure connection. The response from the station may include additional limitations on the use of the unique identifier by the access point. The access point may enforce different policies against the station depending upon how the station responds to the unique identifier request.
Abstract: Aspects of the subject technology relate to systems, methods, and computer-readable media for performing ground segmentation through formation of a single super voxel. Image data tracking a surface as an object moves relative to the surface is accessed. Samples of the image data is grouped into different subsets to form a plurality of subsets of the image data. A normal vector to a corresponding plane defined by each subset of the plurality of subsets of the image data are identified. The samples of the image data are re-grouped into a single subset of the image data based on the corresponding normal vector for each subset of the plurality of subsets of the image data. A surface plane representation of the surface is identified based on the single subset of the image data.
