Abstract: A method for controlling a convoy including a pilot vehicle and a driverless vehicle is presented. It includes electronically tethering the driverless vehicle to the pilot vehicle by establishing communication between a pilot vehicle control module and a driverless vehicle control module. It further includes receiving a longitudinal control user input in the pilot vehicle control module and communicating a longitudinal motion request from the pilot vehicle control module to the driverless vehicle control module, the longitudinal motion request being indicative of the longitudinal control user input. It finally includes controlling a propulsion and braking system of the driverless vehicle in response to the longitudinal motion request received from the pilot vehicle and controlling a propulsion and braking system of the pilot vehicle, while tethered to the driverless vehicle, to maintain a target longitudinal clearance from the driverless vehicle.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to determine component lifts and synergy from overlapping stimuli. An example disclosed apparatus to allocate advertising campaign resources includes a vehicle segregator to segregate impression counts of an advertisement campaign into vehicle types and segregate measured lift values associated with the impression counts into respective ones of the vehicle types, the segregated measured lift values corresponding to respondents that viewed an advertisement corresponding to one of the respective ones of the vehicle types.
Abstract: A method for aligning extended reality (XR) content with a physical environment by, first, identifying a first elongate intersection between two physical surfaces. Then, an intersection point of a XR model is located along the first elongate intersection.
Abstract: A rail-to-rail potentiostat may require an offset current in order to support a bidirectional work electrode current at a work electrode. This offset current may improve measurements of the work electrode current made a dual-slope analog-to-digital converter, especially when the work electrode current is small, but can also lead to inaccuracies (e.g., due to a temperature coefficient) if it is not properly calibrated. Accordingly, bidirectional potentiostat is disclosed that can be configured in a normal configuration for measurement of a work electrode current or a calibration configuration for measurement (i.e., calibration) of an offset current. The reconfigurability allows calibrations to be taken as needed, on a schedule, or as specified by a user. The reconfigurability can also allow for maintaining a work electrode voltage and a work electrode current during calibration so that an electrochemical experiment using a cell coupled to the bidirectional potentiostat is unaffected by the calibration.
Abstract: A driver position assist system is disclosed. The driver position assist system may include a transceiver configured to receive a vehicle component configuration from a vehicle. The driver position assist system may further include a processor configured to obtain the vehicle component configuration from the transceiver. The processor may be further configured to estimate a vehicle user position inside the vehicle based on the vehicle component configuration. The processor may further determine whether a vehicle user head portion is in a driver-facing camera field of view (FOV) based on the estimation of the vehicle user position. The processor may additionally determine an updated vehicle component configuration based on the vehicle user position, when the vehicle user head portion is in not in the camera FOV. Furthermore, the processor may transmit the updated vehicle component configuration to a user interface.

Abstract: A method includes receiving transform coefficients corresponding to a scaled video input signal, the scaled video input signal including a plurality of spatial layers that include a base layer. The method also includes determining a spatial rate factor based on a sample of frames from the scaled video input signal. The spatial rate factor defines a factor for bit rate allocation at each spatial layer of an encoded bit stream formed from the scaled video input signal. The spatial rate factor is represented by a difference between a rate of bits per transform coefficient of the base layer and an average rate of bits per transform coefficient. The method also includes reducing a distortion for the plurality of spatial layers by allocating a bit rate to each spatial layer based on the spatial rate factor and the sample of frames.
