  • Patent number: 12096270
Abstract: To meet the stringent 5G radio access network (RAN) service requirements, layers one and two need to be processed in essentially real time. Thus, prompt anomaly detection is important to prevent negative impacts on customer experience, which is critical for mobile networks to meet the stringent service requirements. However, monitoring networks for anomalies is difficult due at least to (1) the resource constrained edge deployments in which the vRAN resides, (2) the variety of anomaly types and fault locations making anomalies difficult to detect, and (3) the low frequency of anomalies leading to unbalanced data sets for training, among others. The present application addresses these issues by decoupling anomaly detection at the infrastructure layer (servers, NICs, switches, etc.) from anomaly detection at the VNF layer (L1, high-DU, CU). This enables different techniques for identifying anomalies and for reducing the monitoring overhead that is tailored to each layer.

  • Patent number: 12092355
Abstract: A pneumatic thermostat and method, particularly suitable for oil and gas burner systems, which incorporates a dual seat valve with valve seats on each end, and a pair appropriately sized plugs, attached via a rod which is placed through the dual seat valve. This assembly is preferably coupled to a thermal expansion sleeve and internal rod, which move the assembly back and forth. With these mechanics and peripheral features, which can include for example high and low temperature venting and a bypass system, embodiments of the present invention can maintain a target temperature and shut-down pressure in the event that a temperature drops below an operating range.

  • Patent number: 12092808
Abstract: A method and system for autofocusing an objective lens in a microscope system are disclosed. A decentered aperture is disposed in an optical path between an objective lens and an image plane of an image capturing device and a plurality of reference images are captured. Each reference image is captured when the objective lens is positioned at a corresponding z-position of a plurality of z-positions along an axis of travel of the objective lens and the optical path is at least partially occluded by the decentered aperture. At least one reference image of the plurality of the reference images is associated with a best focus position. The plurality of reference images are analyzed to develop a plurality of pattern locations, wherein each pattern location represents a position of a pattern formed on the image plane when a corresponding reference image was captured. The objective lens is positioned in accordance with the best focus position and the plurality of pattern locations.

  • Patent number: 12093186
Abstract: Process dedicated in-memory translation lookaside buffers (TLBs) (mTLBs) for augmenting a memory management unit (MMU) TLB for translating virtual addresses (VAs) to physical addresses (PA) in a processor-based system is disclosed. In disclosed examples, a dedicated in-memory TLB is supported in system memory for each process so that one process's cached page table entries do not displace another process's cached page table entries. When a process is scheduled to execute in a central processing unit (CPU), the in-memory TLB address stored for such process can be used by page table walker circuit in the CPU MMU to access the dedicated in-memory TLB for executing the process to perform VA to PA translations in the event of a TLB miss to the MMU TLB. If a TLB miss occurs to the in-memory TLB, the page table walker circuit can walk the page table in the MMU.

  • Patent number: 12090129
Abstract: Ketogenic compositions include a non-racemic mixture of beta-hydroxybutyrate salts and acid(s) enriched with the R-enantiomer. The compositions are enriched with the R-enantiomer to elevate ketone bodies and increase the rate at which ketosis is achieved yet contains an amount of the S-enantiomer to provide alternative benefits. Beta-hydroxybutyric acid is more rapidly absorbed and utilized by the body than salts or esters, enhances taste, and reduces the need to include citric acid or other edible acids. Beta-hydroxybutyrate salts are more slowly absorbed and utilized by the body and can provide one or more electrolytes. Compositions for increasing ketone body level in a subject may contain a dietetically or pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and a non-racemic mixture of R-beta-hydroxybutyrate and S-beta-hydroxybutyrate, wherein the non-racemic mixture of R-beta-hydroxybutyrate and S-beta-hydroxybutyrate contains from about 50.5% to 99.

  • Patent number: 12093967
Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein provide fraud mitigation via dynamic transaction card wireless communication. A mobile device may cause a dynamic transaction card to periodically scan its environment to detect wireless enabled devices proximately located near the dynamic transaction card. Based on identifying the wireless enabled devices frequently located near the dynamic transaction card, a set of approved devices may be determined. During a transaction, a dynamic transaction card may scan its environment for other wireless enabled devices proximately located near the dynamic transaction card. If wireless enabled devices detected by the dynamic transaction card are all, or a subset, of the devices that are frequently located near the card, then the transaction may be authorized. However, if the wireless enabled devices detected by the dynamic transaction card are not all, or a subset, of the devices that are frequently located near the card, then the transaction may be unauthorized.

  • Patent number: 12094052
Abstract: An improved living area estimation system is described herein that can control and/or use data obtained by a residential robotic device that operates within a structure to estimate the living area. In particular, a residential robotic device may navigate along a predetermined or dynamically-determined route on one floor of the structure. As the residential robotic device travels along the route, the residential robotic device can use one or more sensors to track the area covered. The living area estimation system can obtain a traversed area map directly or indirectly from the residential robotic device, use image processing techniques to enhance the traversed area map, and estimate a living area of a floor on which the residential robotic device operated using the enhanced traversed area map. The living area estimation system can then use artificial intelligence and the estimated floor living area to estimate the living area of a structure.

  • Patent number: 12090390
Abstract: A foldable touch screen display device made up of flexible or tiled display segments that can be folded from a compact state to an expanded state which also includes a gaming motion control interface. The form factor of the compact state is roughly the size of a typical handheld phone or smaller. The form factor of the expanded state is roughly the size of a larger phone or tablet computer, which may also have the mechanical functionality of a laptop. The gaming motion control interface can provide enhanced interaction and viewing of a game application by utilizing the inherent folding mechanics and position of each display segment relative to each other such that a virtual object or point of reference shown on the display corresponds with the device's folding motion. Other applications that do not relate to gaming may also be applied utilizing the same techniques disclosed.
