Abstract: An electronics assembly which includes a grounding connection, having a housing, a connector, a portion of the connector formed around the housing, a recess portion integrally formed as part of the connector, a substrate located in proximity to the connector, and circuitry mounted to the substrate such that the circuitry is at least partially disposed in a cavity formed as part of the connector. A conductor is mounted to the connector such that the conductor is located in the recess, and the conductor is in contact with the housing and the substrate. A grounding connection is formed between the circuitry and the housing when the conductor is in contact with the housing and the substrate. The conductor may be made of an elastomeric material, and the conductor deforms when the substrate is placed in proximity to the connector.

Abstract: The present invention relates to post-harvest lettuce treatment methods that use aqueous ozone to disinfect, extend vitality, and reduce the amount of lettuce used in food preparation. The methods include steps such as creating an ozonated concentrate liquid by way of an aqueous ozone generator, removing pesticide residues from lettuce by a rinse in the ozonated concentrate liquid, disinfecting the lettuce by immersion in the ozonated concentrate liquid, oxygenating lettuce plant tissue to reinvigorate the lettuce, neutralizing the odor of the plant tissue by misting the ozonated concentrate liquid onto the plant tissue at a periodic mist interval, and other method steps and features including being able to disinfect and oxygenate lettuce in prepackaged produce packaging.

Abstract: A method of determining an optimal position of a glenoid implant. The method includes identifying a center point of a patient's glenoid fossa based on an image of the patient's glenoid fossa; determining the optimal position of the glenoid implant based on the location of the center point relative to a medial point of the patient's scapula; and selecting orientation of an alignment pin based on the determined optimal glenoid implant position such that the glenoid fossa will be prepared to receive the glenoid implant at the optimal position when the glenoid fossa is prepared with a cutting device or guide coupled to the alignment pin.
Abstract: The disclosure is generally directed to in-vehicle entertainment systems and methods. An example method executed by processor of a vehicle may include displaying an iconic representation containing a first icon representing a musical instrument and a second icon representing a vehicle component. The processor may detect an assigning of the musical instrument to the vehicle component. The assigning may be carried out, for example, by a driver of the vehicle executing a drag-and-operation to overlap the first icon with second icon. The processor may then detect a physical contact made upon the vehicle component and generate, based on detecting the physical contact, a musical sound corresponding to the musical instrument.

Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a region of semiconductor material having a first side and a second side opposite to the first side. Active device structures are adjacent to the first side, the active device structures comprising source regions and gate electrodes. A first gate conductor is at the first side electrically connected to the gate electrodes, a drain region is at the second side, a second gate conductor is at the second side, and through-semiconductor vias extending from the first side towards the side and electrically connecting the first gate electrode to the second gate electrode. A source electrode is at the first side electrically connected to the source regions, and a drain electrode is at the second side electrically connected to the drain region. The through-semiconductor vias are electrically isolated from the source regions and the drain region. The structure provides a gate/drain up with a source-down configuration.
Abstract: A medical diagnostic kit are described. In one example, a medical diagnostic kit includes a container, and a plurality of medical diagnostic test kits located within the container. Each of the plurality of medical diagnostic test kits can include equipment necessary to perform a particular self-administered medical diagnostic test. The plurality of medical diagnostic test kits can include at least a first medical diagnostic kit adapted to facilitate user completion of a first medical diagnostic test and a second medical diagnostic kit adapted to facilitate user completion of a second medical diagnostic test different from the first medical diagnostic test. The container can include a machine-readable code located on an external surface of the container.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to detecting and responding to objects in a vehicle's environment. For example, an object may be identified in a vehicle's environment, the object having a heading and location. A set of possible actions for the object may be generated using map information describing the vehicle's environment and the heading and location of the object. A set of possible future trajectories of the object may be generated based on the set of possible actions. A likelihood value of each trajectory of the set of possible future trajectories may be determined based on contextual information including a status of the detected object. A final future trajectory is determined based on the determined likelihood value for each trajectory of the set of possible future trajectories. The vehicle is then maneuvered in order to avoid the final future trajectory and the object.

Abstract: The disclosure is generally directed to systems and methods associated with a vehicle that is configured to provide photography assistance. An example method executed by processor of a vehicle may include generating a guidance associated with a photo capture operation and conveying the guidance to a vehicle controller. The processor may assist the vehicle controller to execute a vehicle maneuvering operation to capture a photograph of an object of photographical interest located outside the vehicle. The vehicle maneuvering operation can include parking the vehicle at a location that provides a view of the object or slowing down the vehicle while driving past the location. The photo capture operation can include the processor determining that the object is in a field of view of a camera mounted on the vehicle, configuring the camera to capture a photograph of the object, and operating the camera to capture the photograph of the object.
