Abstract: An MRAM-based vector multiplication device, such as can be used for inferencing in a neural network, is presented that is ultralow power, low cost, and does not require special on-chip programming. A crosspoint array has an MRAM cell at each crosspoint junction and periphery array circuitry capable of supplying independent input voltages to each word line and reading current on each bit line. Vector multiplication is performed as an in-array multiplication of a vector of input voltages with matrix weight values encoded by the MRAM cell states. The MRAM cells can be individually programmed using a combination of input voltages and an external magnetic field. The external magnetic field is chosen so that a write voltage of one polarity reduces the anisotropy sufficiently to align the cell state with the external field, but is insufficient to align the cell if only half of the write voltage is applied.

Abstract: A head-up display for displaying graphics upon a windscreen of a vehicle includes a graphic projection module for generating images upon the windscreen of the vehicle, a user input device for receiving user-generated commands created by a user of the vehicle, and one or more controllers in electronic communication with the graphic projection module and the user input device. The controller executes instructions to instruct the graphic projection module to generate a luminance adjustment graphic, where the luminance adjustment graphic includes an adaptive color palette graphic including two or more colors. The controller receives, from the user input device, a user-generated luminance input indicating a change in a level of luminance in a selected color, where the change in the level of luminance in the selected color is selected by the user to discern differences between the two or more colors caused by a color vision deficiency.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and computer-readable media for selectively analyzing content of electronic communications and enabling a sender to modify content to comply with one or more accessibility preferences. For example, systems disclosed herein may enable a client device to selectively analyze portions of an electronic communication and provide an accessibility alert indicator that one or more accessibility violations exist for a corresponding set of recipients. In addition, systems disclosed herein involve selectively applying a dynamic set of accessibility rules to content of the electronic document based on recipients that are added or removed as well as content of the electronic communication as it is composed.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for more efficiently and accurately generating neural network outputs, for instance, for use in classifying image or audio data. In one aspect, a method includes processing a network input using a neural network including multiple neural network layers to generate a network output. One or more of the neural network layers is a conditional neural network layer. Processing a layer input using a conditional neural network layer to generate a layer output includes obtaining values of one or more decision parameters of the conditional neural network layer. The neural network processes the layer input and the decision parameters of the conditional neural network layer to determine values of one or more latent parameters of the conditional neural network layer from a continuous set of possible latent parameter values. The values of the latent parameters specify the values of the conditional layer weights.

Abstract: A tile spacing device and accompanying system and method are disclosed for spacing a plurality of tiles having a contour. In one embodiment of the tile spacing device, the tile spacing device includes a U-shaped band having a body with two branches extending parallel therefrom and an opening therebetween. An arm having a lateral end extends proximally from one of the branches into the opening. Two interlocking connectors are respectively positioned on the body at the opening and on the arm. In one embodiment of the system, two tile spacing devices complimentarily releasably mate when the tile spacing devices are opposing and perpendicularly displaced to interlock the interlocking connectors.
Abstract: In some implementations, an electrical drive circuit may generate a rectangular optical pulse using cathode pre-charge and cathode-pull compensation. The electrical drive circuit may include an anode and a cathode to connect an optical load, a switch, a first source connected between the anode and a ground, a rectifier connected between the cathode and the switch, a capacitor connected in parallel with the rectifier, a second source connected to the ground, and an inductor connected between the switch and the second source. In some implementations, when the switch is closed and the optical load is connected, a first current is provided to the optical load through the first source, the rectifier, and the switch, and a second current is provided to the optical load through the first source, the capacitor, and the switch, where a rise time of the first current complements a fall time of the second current.
