Abstract: A system information transmission method is provided. The system information transmission method includes the following steps. A first preamble for system information request is transmitted by a UE to a base station. When an acknowledgement message from the base station is not received, the first preamble for system information request is retransmitted by the UE to the base station. When the acknowledgement message from the base station is received, system information is received by the UE from the base station.
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for a gateway datapath that executes on a gateway device to implement logical routers for a set of logical networks and process traffic between the logical networks and an external network. The method receives a data message at the gateway device. To process the data message, the method executes a set of processing stages that includes a processing stage for a particular logical router. As part of the processing stage for the particular logical router, the method (i) uses an access control list (ACL) table to determine whether the data message is subject to rate limiting controls defined for the particular logical router and (ii) only when the data message is subject to rate limiting controls, determines whether to allow the data message according to a rate limiting mechanism for the particular logical router.
Abstract: Magnetic field components are measured at multiple longitudinal positions and used to calculate estimated longitudinal position and length of a transversely localized electric current segment flowing across a gap between conductive bodies. The apparatus can be used with a remelting furnace. The electrode and ingot act as the conductive bodies, and arcs, discharges, or slag currents are the current segments spanning the gap. Actuators for movable sensors can be coupled to the sensors in a servomechanism arrangement to move the sensors along with the moving gap. An actuator for moving one of the conductive bodies can be coupled to sensors in a servomechanism arrangement to maintain the gap distance within a selected range as the gap moves.

Abstract: Systems and method for delivering and deploying an expandable stent to treat Intracranial atherosclerotic disease (ICAD) involving large and medium-sized blood vessels. The disclosed systems include a catheter, a shaft comprising a distal end disposed within the catheter, an expandable stent comprising a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the shaft is coupled to the expandable stent and the shaft is disposed within the expandable stent, and a plurality of struts, wherein a first end of each strut is coupled to the shaft and a second end of each strut is coupled to the expandable stent. Longitudinal movement of the shaft relative to the expandable stent extends the plurality of struts radially outward and expands the expandable stent, similar to umbrella. The plurality of struts provides radial force to the expandable stent in an expanded configuration to the vessel walls of the patient.

Abstract: A tool for feeding material into a mill having a roller and forming a nip gap. The tool broadly comprises a baseplate, a guide plate, and a ram. The baseplate is configured to be positioned on the mill over the roller and forms a slot. The guide plate is configured to be positioned in the slot of the baseplate near the nip gap. The guide plate forms a chute for feeding the material into the nip gap. The ram is configured to be inserted into the chute to urge the material into the nip gap while preventing a user's fingers and other foreign objects from nearing the nip gap through the chute.

Abstract: A system and method for operating a cryptocurrency, including generating, by first computing devices, raw data sets representative of activities performed by respective users while each of the users is using the Internet. A second computing device may determine an aggregate data value of at least a portion of an aggregate of the raw data sets. The at least a portion of the aggregate of the raw data sets being received from the users who contribute that portion of the raw data sets, the contributing users being data contributors. A basis value of a cryptocurrency as a function of the aggregate data value may be established. Total quantity of the cryptocurrency in circulation may be regulated as a function of the aggregate data value.
Abstract: A method, computer program, and computer system is provided for coding video data. Video data including a current picture and one or more other pictures is received. A first flag corresponding to whether the current picture is referenced by the one or more other pictures in a decoding order is checked. A second flag corresponding to whether the current picture is output; is checked. The video data is decoded based on values corresponding to the first flag and the second flag.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed including means for identifying to identify a first request having a first source port number, from a device, determine whether a second request, having a second source port number, is within a threshold number of ports from the first source port number, group the first and the second requests as a first session when the second source port number is within the threshold number of ports from the first source port number, and means for classifying to generate session windows, the session windows including the threshold number of ports, wherein the session windows are applied to lowest and highest source port numbers associated with a current session.
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for dynamically optimizing EN-DC networks and include a first node, a second node, and one or more processors. The one or more processors are configured to receive data indicating that a first set of bands is present within a first sector and determine a high priority band from the first set of bands within the first sector. The system also identifies a first set of devices within a sector and defines a time frame for receiving data indicating a number of instances in which each device connected to the high priority band. A first status report comprising data indicating the number of instances each device connected to the high priority band is received and a performance rating is determined for the high priority band. The time frame for receiving data may be adjusted based on the performance rating and data from the first status report.

Abstract: A system for finishing an interior or exterior drywall surface of a building structure can apply a predetermined formulation of dispensable compound material in liquefied form at a continuous flow with simultaneous surface finishing characteristics while reducing labor intensity and maximizing finish quality to a level 5 standard.
Abstract: The disclosed method relates to a method of recycling high relative viscosity nylon. The process involves melting a base polyamide with a dry blended mixture of dicarboxylic acid and a second polyamide. The disclosed method provides a process of controlling the relative viscosity of the combined polyamides and, in various aspects, the second polyamide may be nylon plop or other polyamide having high relative viscosity.
Abstract: Various technologies described herein pertain to injection locking on-chip laser(s) and external on-chip resonator(s). A system includes a first integrated circuit chip and a second integrated circuit chip. The first integrated circuit chip and the second integrated circuit chip are separate integrated circuit chips and can be optically coupled to each other. The first integrated circuit chip includes a laser configured to emit light via a first path and a second path. The second integrated circuit chip includes a resonator formed of an electrooptic material. The resonator can receive the light emitted by the laser of the first integrated circuit chip via the first path and return feedback light to the laser of the first integrated circuit chip via the first path. The feedback light can cause injection locking of the laser to the resonator to control the light emitted by the laser (e.g., via the first and second paths).

Abstract: Techniques for generating configuration information of a storage system involve: acquiring, in response to receiving a request to generate configuration information of a storage system, attribute information of an object created in the storage system. The techniques further involve: acquiring a first ontology item corresponding to the object based on the attribute information, the first ontology item describing a relationship between the object and an operation executed for the object. The techniques further involve: acquiring a second ontology item corresponding to the operation. The techniques further involve: generating the configuration information of the storage system based at least on the first ontology item and the second ontology item. Such techniques enable users to quickly obtain the configuration information of the system, thereby increasing the query efficiency and improving the user experience.
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and computer program products for operating a robotic system. For example, the methods include by a processor: receiving a plurality of first signals that each comprise data produced by at least two sources of the robotic system and first keys respectively defined by identifiers for the at least two sources; generating second signals derived from the plurality of signals; combining second keys of the second signals to produce a third key; detecting an existence of an operational condition in the robotic system when the third key has a value different than an expected value; and causing a given action to be taken by the robotic system responsive to the existence of the operational condition.
