  • Patent number: 12090313
Abstract: Some embodiments of percutaneous ventricular assist devices have a two-part design that includes a housing component and a separately deployable rotatable inner catheter component. The housing component can include an expandable pump housing. The inner catheter can include an expandable pump impeller and an associated flexible drive shaft. The drive shaft can be coupled to a motor located external to the patient. The motor can rotate the drive shaft to spin the pump impeller inside of the pump housing, causing blood to be pumped within the patient. In some embodiments, the pump impeller is inflatable or self-expandable. The two-part percutaneous ventricular assist devices with inflatable or self-expandable pump impellers are designed to have very small delivery profiles. Accordingly, various deployment modalities, including radial artery deployment, are practicable using the two-part percutaneous ventricular assist devices described herein.

  • Patent number: 12090375
Abstract: A putter type golf club head having a frontal ball striking face that engages and grips a golf ball during the execution of a putting stroke to direct the golf ball in a straight line toward the intended target. The face includes a plurality of ball striking land areas and a plurality of adjacent and complimentary recessed channels that form an opening toward and on either side of the midpoint of the hitting area of the face. The ball contact areas are smaller than the adjacent recessed channels at the midpoint of the hitting area of the face. Gripping edges at the interface of the land areas and the recessed channels redirect the golf ball toward the intended target when the ball is miss hit away from the midpoint of the face.

  • Patent number: 12091893
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a selectively operated safety latch having an active mode and a stowed mode. In an illustrative example, a retractable safety latch may include a tongue element extending in a first plane and a base element extending in a second plane. The tongue element, for example, may include multiple mode selection slots. The base element may include a brace slot. For example, one of the multiple mode selection slots and the brace slot may receive a security pin long a longitudinal axis so that a predetermined mode is selected. In the active mode, the tongue element extends away from the base element to releasably engage a striker element. In the inactive mode, the first plane and the second plane are substantially parallel such that the tongue element is prevented from engaging the striker element. Various embodiments may advantageously provide quick switching security latch operations.

  • Patent number: 12093269
Abstract: Methods and servers for generating an enriched query are disclosed. The server acquires an indication of a user query, employs a first model to generate a first candidate string and a second candidate string that are respective candidates for the enriched query; employs a second model to determine that the first candidate string and the second candidate string are a pair of similar candidate strings, and causes display of only one of the pair of similar candidate strings as the enriched query on the electronic device. The second model is trained in a pair-wise configuration based on a training set. The training set includes a first and second training string and a label. The label is indicative of a similarity between the first training string with the second training string. The label is determined based on a comparison of training document(s) relevant to the first and second training string.

  • Patent number: 12095631
Abstract: The present disclosure facilitates improving the operation of a cloud service by updating its configuration information and its resource requirements. The resource utilization of the cloud service can be monitored, and a decision logic module can determine whether action is required. When action is required, an update can be prepared and applied, and notifications can be generated about the condition and its resolution. Resolutions can require correlation of multiple cloud services to provide real-time access to information that is not otherwise available to a single entity. Resolutions can be learned and predicted in a number of ways using a predictive engine.

  • Patent number: 12093979
Abstract: This application relates to apparatus and methods for providing recommended items to advertise. In some examples, a computing device determines a first set of items for recommendation based on historical user data associated with a user, and a second set of items for recommendation based on real-time user session data for the user. The computing device may then determine a subset of the first set of items based on associated scores and a predetermined threshold number of first items that can be presented for optimal user interaction. The computing device may generate a set of item recommendations by combining the subset of the first set of items and at least one of the second set of items to present to the user as advertisements.

  • Patent number: 12095847
Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure relate to a distributed CDN comprised of CDN nodes that each have a compute engine and a data store. Compute engines may be used to execute software associated with computing functionality of the distributed CDN and may be reconfigured according to changing conditions to adapt computing functionality to current or expected demand. Nodes may communicate with one another via an overlay network. A node may determine whether it should process a request or generate a route via the overlay network to the remote node, thereby enabling the remote node to process the request. In another example, a node may receive a request for a compute resource that is not currently provided by the node. The compute engine of the node may be reconfigured to provide the compute resource, thereby enabling the node to service the request rather than redirect the request to a different node.

  • Patent number: 12095647
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems for providing multiple egress routes from a telecommunications network for a client of the network. In general, the system provides for a client of the network to receive intended packets of information through multiple connections to the network such that load balancing and failover services for traffic to the customer are provided. The process and system allow for telecommunications network to utilize a common next-hop value of announced border gateway protocol (BGP) routes to advertise multiple routes to reach a destination customer network or address. By utilizing a common next-hop value in the announced BGP information, the devices of the network may load balance communication packets to the destination customer or address among the multiple egress locations from the network, as well as providing fast failover to alternate routes when a failure at the network or customer occurs.
