Abstract: Utilizing local camera compute for camera calibration is provided. Perception outputs are generated, by respective camera processors of each of a plurality of cameras, the perception outputs indicating properties of calibration references located in raw images captured by the respective camera. In a calibration mode, a camera controller, in communication with the plurality of cameras over a data bus, receives the perception outputs from the plurality of cameras. In a runtime mode, the camera controller utilizes calibration data generated based on the perception outputs to fuse compressed images received from the plurality of cameras over the data bus into a combined surround view.
Abstract: A rotary analysis apparatus and related methods are disclosed. The apparatus generally includes a rotary machine operable to rotate or spin a removable disk-type analytical cartridge. The cartridge includes a plurality of fluidly isolated processing trains for processing multiple samples simultaneously. Each process train includes an extractant mixing chamber, slurry filtration chamber, supernatant collection chamber, and reagent mixing chamber in fluid communication. In one use, soil sample slurry is prepared and added to the extractant mixing chamber. The slurry is mixed with an extractant by rotating the cartridge to separate out an analyte from the mixture. A sediment filter in the filtration chamber deliquifies and traps soil particles to produce clear supernatant. A color changing reagent or fluorescent agent may be mixed with the collected supernatant for subsequent colorimetric, fluorescent, turbidimetric, or other type of analysis.
Abstract: A moving bed biofilm reactor system for growing microorganisms comprising a reservoir containing a fluid that contains nutrients conducive to growth of microorganisms and a plurality of inert biomass carriers having a surface area configured to support growth of microorganisms is provided. The microorganisms may be used to remove a pollutant from a fluid. Furthermore, the microorganisms may be harvested and used as a foodstuff fertilizer, biofuels, and bioplastics.
Abstract: Packaging for protecting a brush comprises a box and a brush. The brush has bristles forming a particular shape, and the box defines a nose with a corresponding shape for accommodating the bristles without bending or impacting the bristles, whereby the brush holds its form while packaged. The brush preferably is an angular brush. The box includes a lid by which the brush is secured, with a handle of the brush extending through an opening in the lid.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for adjusting an ammonia (NH3) sensor output using readings of a nitrogen oxide (NOx) sensor, the NOx sensor having a sensitivity factor to NH3. In one example, a method may include determining and updating a gain value of the NH3 sensor during zero NOx conditions to be used to calculate a corrected NH3 sensor output value, and determining and updating an offset value of the NH3 sensor during zero NH3 conditions to be used to zero the NH3 sensor during zero NOx conditions.

Abstract: A pressurized push rod system and device for repairing pipe failures from inside the pipe is provided. In one embodiment, a pipe includes a first fitting and a second fitting allowing air to pass through the pipe and into an air bladder. The system includes a pressurized push rod device which attaches to an air bladder and an air compressor to inflate an air bladder within a pipe and thereby apply a patch to a failure within the pipe from inside the pipe.

In some aspects, a method for external quiesce of a core in a multi-core system-on-chip (SoC), comprises, at control circuitry for the multi-core SoC, receiving an indication that a core in a multi-core SoC should be quiesced, determining that the core should be externally quiesced, and asserting an external quiesce request input into the core.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and storage media for classifying content across media formats based on weak supervision and cross-modal training are disclosed. The system can maintain a first feature classifier and a second feature classifier that classifies features of content having a first and second media format, respectively. The system can extract a feature space from a content item using the first feature classifier and the second feature classifier. The system can apply a set of content rules to the feature space to determine content metrics. The system can correlate a set of known labelled data to the feature space to construct determinative training data. The system can train a discrimination model using the content item and the determinative training data. The system can classify content using the discrimination model to assign a content policy to the second content item.

Abstract: A system for controlling process pathways is described. The system includes a network, a system backend communicable with said network and configured to generate a process pathway based on a set of rules reflecting a predetermined condition and a series of notifications corresponding to the process pathway. The system may also include a mobile device communicable with said system backend via said network. The mobile device may be configured to receive from said backend at least one notification defining a task of the process pathway, and upon which notification a user is authorized to act, allowing the user to modify a state of said the notification with a one-step action.
