Abstract: A converter circuit may require sensing an average current as feedback for regulating the average current supplied to a load. Sensing the average current may be inaccurate due to the non-ideal behavior of devices in the converter circuit. The disclosed circuits and methods help to improve the accuracy of the sensed average current by ignoring portions of a PWM cycle. Some of the ignored portions are based on a peak threshold for a rising current of a PWM cycle and a valley threshold for a falling current of a PWM cycle. The peak threshold and the valley threshold may be adjusted to control the average current and the switching frequency of the converter circuit.

Abstract: Techniques and apparatuses are described that perform audioplethysmography and motion-sensing data fusion. Fusing motion-sensing data with audioplethysmography expands the situations in which audioplethysmography can operate. In one aspect, audioplethysmography and motion-sensing data fusion can be used for motion-artifact filtering. With motion-artifact filtering, noise caused by motion of a user can be attenuated to improve sensitivity and accuracy for audioplethysmography. This performance improvement expands the ability of audioplethysmography to support use cases during situations in which the user engages in an activity. In another aspect, audioplethysmography and motion-sensing data fusion can expand a functionality of a hearable to include activity detection and/or activity classification.

Abstract: An ozone solution system includes a single water input line routing water into the ozone solution system. A single air intake routes air into the ozone solution system. An air treatment stage treats the air and generate ozone gas. A connection injects the ozone gas into the water to form a mixture of water and aqueous ozone. A mixing apparatus downstream of the connection includes a helical shaped insertion formed by a plurality of helical mixing segments. The helical shaped insertion causes the mixture to change direction and cuts ozone bubbles within the mixture as the mixture passes therethrough. Adjacent helical segments do not align with one another. A single mixture output line routes the mixture out of the ozone solution system.

Abstract: A computing system identifies player tracking data and event data corresponding to a match. The match includes a first team and a second team. The player tracking data includes coordinate positions of each player during the event. The event data defines events that occur during the match. The computing system divides the player tracking data into a plurality of segments based on the event information. For each segment of the plurality of segments, the computing system learns a first formation associated with a respective team in possession. For each segment of the plurality of segments, the computing system learns a second formation associated with a respective team not in possession. The computing system maps each first formation to a first class of known formation clusters. The computing system maps each second formation to a second class of known formation clusters.

Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamic bandwidth allocation and jitter handling in multi-tiered satellite networks such as virtual communication networks and/or physical communication networks. The system includes bandwidth distributing (BD) unit, in-route group managers (IGMs), in-route bandwidth manager (IBM). The system functions in multi-tier network entity management mode, and multi-beam management mode. The system operates by periodically collecting bandwidth reports from IGMs. The BD unit analyzes data in report and compares aggregated bandwidth demand with pre-defined thresholds. If thresholds are exceeded, system switches to multi-tier network entity management mode. In this mode, BD unit determines individual bandwidth adjustments for virtual network and beams and allocates bandwidth for individual devices within virtual network.
