Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating a mapping application that displays an initial map with a zoom level that is based on a travel time associated with the location of the user. The mapping application receives a request to present a digital map from a client device. Based on the current geographic location of the client device, the mapping application estimates a distance in which a user of the client device can travel within a particular time period. The mapping application then selects a parameter for a viewport of the digital map based at least on the estimated distance. For example, the viewport parameter may be a zoom level. The mapping application then generates the digital map in accordance with the selected parameter, and displays the digital map via a user interface of the client device.
Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for performing entity actions based upon inputs received via email interfaces are provided. For example, an email received by an email account may be identified. The email may be associated with an entity action corresponding to a first entity. A selectable input corresponding to performing the entity action may be displayed via an email interface associated with the email account. A request to perform the entity action may be received via a selection of the selectable input. Responsive to receiving the request, an action interface corresponding to performing the entity action may be displayed within the email interface. One or more inputs associated with the entity action may be received via the action interface. Responsive to determining that the entity action is completed, a confirmation message, indicative of the entity action being completed, may be displayed using the email interface.

Abstract: A utility knife includes a blade, a housing to store the blade, an actuator, and a pinion gear to deploy the blade. The pinion gear includes one or more sets of teeth that are engaged with a fixed rack of the housing and a sliding rack of the blade holder. The pinion gear is also coupled to the actuator, which is configured to linearly translate the pinion gear. As the pinion gear linearly translates between front and back ends of the housing, the pinion gear rotates due to its engagement with the fixed rack. The further engagement between the pinion gear and the sliding rack causes the sliding rack to advance in the same linear direction as the pinion gear by a distance that is greater than the linear distance traversed by the pinion gear, thereby advancing or retracting the blade connected to the blade holder.
Abstract: A burst mode time division multiple access (TDMA) data processing system can determine burst time plans (BTPs). The burst mode TDMA data processing system can receive burst mode time division multiple access (TDMA) data. The burst mode TDMA data can be distributed among processors based on the BTPs. The distributed burst mode TDMA data can be demodulated and decoded the using the processors and the demodulated and decoded burst mode TDMA data can be output.
Abstract: A wheel truck assembly having two wheel trucks spaced apart on a base plate for supporting the skater's foot, wherein one wheel truck can be selectively removed from the base plate, and wherein each wheel truck has a two wheels that can be selectively and separately attached to and detached from the wheel truck.
Abstract: A system for monitoring a battery module having a plurality of cells includes a sensor adapted to obtain respective cell voltages of the plurality of cells. The controller is adapted to receive data from the sensor, the controller having a processor and tangible, non-transitory memory on which instructions are recorded. The controller is configured to sort the respective cell voltages to create a voltage ranking. The voltage ranking is repeated with at least one new set of cell voltage readings obtained at a predefined checking frequency. Differences in the voltage ranking of the plurality of cells are analyzed. The controller is adapted to control operation of the battery module based in part on differences in the voltage ranking. The controller may be adapted to predict likelihood of a thermal runway event based in part on the differences in the voltage ranking.

Abstract: The invention relates to a connector (1) for data connections, in particular of the RJ type, with a latch element (6) for securing a connection to a counter-connector. In order to simplify a disconnection of the connector (1) and the counter-connector, even when the connection is secured by the latch connection, the invention provides that the connector (1) is provided with a gripping end (5, 5?) that is adapted to transfer the latch element (6) from its latch position (L) and to disconnect the connector (1) from the counter-connector by a single movement.
Abstract: A battery monitoring network is provided that includes a battery. The battery monitoring network also includes a battery monitoring system integrated within the battery. The battery monitoring system includes a diagnostic system configured to monitor or to store one or more battery parameters of the battery. Additionally, the battery monitoring system includes a transmitter configured to transmit data indicative of the one or more battery parameters of the battery. Furthermore, battery monitoring network includes a cloud-based computing network having a remote server configured to receive the data indicative of the one or more battery parameters of the battery. Moreover, the cloud-based computing network is configured to interface with a plurality of battery monitoring systems, and includes an internet connection.

Abstract: The nonvolatile memory includes a plurality of nonvolatile memory cells configured to store multiple data states; a word line connected to a control gate of at least one of the plurality of non-volatile memory cells; a control gate line to supply a control gate signal; a word line switch connected between the word line and the control gate line to control the potential applied to the word line from the control gate line; and a memory controller circuit. The memory controller circuit is configured to control a word line potential on the word line and a control gate potential on the control gate line and to control a state of the control gate. The memory controller circuit, when the nonvolatile memory transitions to a not-on state, is further configured to turn off the word line switch and to charge the control gate line to a charged potential.
Abstract: A three-dimensional integrated circuit apparatus includes a three-dimensional integrated circuit including a group of integrated double-layer microchannels (DLMC) and multi-layer microchannels (MLMC) with optimized thermal performance for the three-dimensional integrated circuit.
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and computing system for: receiving an indication that a specific request has been completely processed on an IT computing device; analyzing a plurality of queued requests within a pending queue of the IT computing device to identify a target queued request for processing based, at least in part, upon: a root request limit of the IT computing device, a global request limit of the IT computing device, and a sibling status of the specific request.
Abstract: Example embodiments relate to methods for localizing light detection and ranging (lidar) calibration targets. An example method includes generating a point cloud of a region based on data from a light detection and ranging (lidar) device. The point cloud may include points representing at least a portion of a calibration target. The method also includes determining a presumed location of the calibration target. Further, the method includes identifying, within the point cloud, a location of a first edge of the calibration target. In addition, the method includes performing a comparison between the identified location of the first edge of the calibration target and a hypothetical location of the first edge of the calibration target within the point cloud if the calibration target were positioned at the presumed location. Still further, the method includes revising the presumed location of the calibration target based on at least the comparison.
