  • Patent number: 12135661
Abstract: Example computer-implemented methods, media, and systems for processing input/output (I/O) commands using block size aware polling are disclosed. One example method includes creating multiple polling queues and multiple interrupt queues in a transport drivers layer of a storage stack. A first I/O command is received from a core layer of the storage stack and by the transport drivers layer. A ratio of a total number of multiple small block size commands in the transport drivers layer to a total number of multiple outstanding I/O commands in the transport drivers layer is determined to be larger than a predetermined first threshold. In response to determining that the ratio is larger than the predetermined first threshold, the polling mode is applied to the first I/O command through the submission of the first I/O command to a first polling queue in the multiple polling queues.

  • Patent number: 12133480
Abstract: A system and method cuts and increases surface area of surface stubble material while contemporaneously mulching, tilling and aerating the soil. A discoidal coulter blade is configured with sharpened areas at the circumference and one or more inside bevel for cutting the surface stubble as well as reducing the downward pressure required for the blade to enter the type and depth of soil desired. The bevel aids in coulter blade lifespan, ensuring a self-sharpened blade, and allows mating with a second coulter blade.

  • Patent number: 12135179
Abstract: A motion detection system designed for firearms, aiming to enhance safety and security while maintaining privacy which will alert a user of movement of their firearm or firearm magazine. The present disclosure incorporates an inconspicuous motion detection device, resembling a firearm bullet, to be inserted into a firearm or firearm magazine. This device includes a first communication module, first power source, electrical switch, and first microcontroller, all housed in a bullet-like casing. The system detects motion without transmitting personal location data, using an ultra-high radio frequency and an electrical switch configured to detect a change in position or orientation to maximize battery life. The motion detection device communicates with a base station, which communicates with a secure server network, ultimately sending notifications to a user's mobile device that the firearm or firearm magazine is being moved.
