  • Patent number: 12131100
Abstract: The present disclosure is generally related to a data processing system to determine operational statuses of agents interfacing with digital assistant applications. The data processing system can access a log database. The log database can maintain response metrics for an agent service. Each response metric can correspond to a response by the agent service to a request generated by a digital assistant application responsive to an input audio signal. The data processing system can transmit a ping request to the agent service and can wait for a second response from the agent service. The data processing system can determine an operational status of the agent service based on the response metrics and on a time elapsed since the transmission of the ping request. The data processing system can cause the digital assistant application to perform an action based on the operational status.

  • Patent number: 12130865
Abstract: Retrieval of relevant vectors produced by representation learning can critically influence the efficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks. Presented herein are systems and methods for searching vectors via a typical nonmetric matching function: inner product. Embodiments, which construct an approximate Inner Product Delaunay Graph (IPDG) for top-1 Maximum Inner Product Search (MIPS), transform retrieving the most suitable latent vectors into a graph search problem with great benefits of efficiency. Experiments on data representations learned for different machine learning tasks verify the outperforming effectiveness and efficiency of IPDG embodiments.

  • Patent number: 12131508
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for mesh coding (encoding and/or decoding). In some examples, an apparatus for coding mesh includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry decodes, using a point cloud compression (PCC) decoder and from a bitstream, a point cloud that includes first points corresponding to vertices in a three dimensional (3D) mesh frame. The 3D mesh frame represents a surface of an object with polygons. The processing circuitry decodes, from the bitstream, first connectivity information of the 3D mesh frame. The first connectivity information has been signaled in the bitstream. The processing circuitry infers, second connectivity information of the 3D mesh frame, from the first points of the point cloud. The second connectivity information is not signaled in the bitstream. The processing circuitry reconstructs the 3D mesh frame based on the point cloud, the first connectivity information and the second connectivity information.
