Abstract: A tubular is prepared for downhole use to include integrated centralizer feature disposed thereon. Blade elements are disposed about a surface of the tubular. An interconnection, such as a band, connected between the blade elements can be used to wrap them circumferentially about the tubular. The blade elements are then affixed to the surface of the tubular to produce the integrated centralizer features by coating a spray welding material over at least a portion of the plurality of blade elements and over at least an adjacent portion of the surface of the tubular. The blade elements can be hollow vanes or fins so they are collapsible when a restriction is encountered downhole to avoid a stuck pipe situation.
Abstract: A system for disinfecting an enclosed space includes a housing, ultraviolet (UV) emitters, a sensor to detect occupancy in or entry into an enclosed space, a UV directing mechanism, and a controller. The housing includes an air flow passageway. When the UV directing mechanism is in the closed state, the UV emitters are positioned in the air flow passageway and transmission of UV electromagnetic radiation into the enclosed space is substantially blocked. UV electromagnetic radiation is transmitted into the enclosed space when the UV directing mechanism is in the at least one open state. Disinfection operations can be activated when the UV directing mechanism is in the open state or the closed state. When the UV directing mechanism is in the open state, the disinfection operation is activated when the sensor indicates no occupancy in or no entry into the enclosed space.
Abstract: Described are methods and systems are for generating dynamic conversational queries. For example, as opposed to being a simply reactive system, the methods and systems herein provide means for actively determining a user's intent and generating a dynamic query based on the determined user intent. Moreover, these methods and systems generate these queries in a conversational environment.

Abstract: Systems and methods for achieving pristine microgravity in low earth orbit (LEO) using electric propulsion. Long-duration, low thrust, electric thrusters provide a constant thrust force for a pristine microgravity environment within a given volume of a space vehicle experiencing drag forces in LEO. Large space vehicles in LEO configured to be pressurized for human habitation, for instance having a mass of at least 40,000 kg and an internal volume of at least 400 m3, can use the electric propulsion systems and methods to achieve a quasi-steady acceleration less than or equal to 1.0 ?g for durations of 180 consecutive days or longer.

Abstract: A fountain apparatus may include a wall insert that can be threadably attached to a water inlet port in the wall of a pool. The wall insert may split water flow into two streams, one that passes through a jet nozzle ball and into the pool, and the other that flows into a reservoir that supplies water to a stream nozzle tip to form a water fountain. A water insert reservoir cap may be releasably engageable with the wall insert and include two fluid passageways, one corresponding to the flow path to the jet nozzle ball and the other corresponding to the reservoir and the flow path to the stream nozzle tip. A reservoir locking cap may be used to secure the wall insert reservoir cap to the wall insert. A jet nozzle cap may be used to secure the jet nozzle ball to the reservoir locking cap.
Abstract: A system for analysis of isolated and connected porosities of a porous formation using permittivity is disclosed. An electrical subsystem can provide electrical signals for one or more of the porous formation or a representation of the porous formation; and the system can determine one or more of a rate of permittivity change (RPC) or permittivity ratio (PR) from a first estimation model that relates permittivity measurements and frequencies that are associated with the electrical signals, so that the system can generate a second estimation model using one or more of the RPC or the PR, associated with the isolated and connected porosities, where the second estimation model can be used with a total porosity of the porous formation to estimate or predict an isolated porosity and a connected porosity of a production porous formation.

Abstract: Devices, systems, methods and computer program products are disclosed that facilitate part layer curing by an additive manufacturing device wherein each element of the part layer is exposed to light from a light source until the element receives sufficient energy to cure. In an aspect, received energy is calculated based on both the light received directly from the light source and light received from surrounding elements due to dispersion and other effects. The present disclosure enables consistent curing across a part layer, facilitate the creation of sharp outer structures, and allow fragile structures to be built alongside larger structures without a loss of quality, clarity, or resolution.

The system also includes a carrier arranged within the housing, the carrier being coupled to a power supply. The system further includes a catalyst coating at least a portion of the carrier. Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to late materialization of attributes in response to queries to a database implementing a database cache. Queried data is materialized in temporary memory before the data is projected as part of generating a result to the query. Instead of materializing all of the attributes referenced in a query before executing the query, a database management system materializes attributes as “late” as possible—when the operation needing the attributes is executed. The operation needing the attributes can be performed sooner, as opposed to materializing all referenced attributes are materialized before executing the query.

In some examples, a method can include obtaining past time data associated with a temporal metric of an operating parameter of a qubit in a quantum device. The method can include selecting an operating parameter value based at least in part on the past time data associated with the temporal metric of the operating parameter to reduce likelihood of occurrence of a time dependent defect. The time dependent defect can exhibit a time dependent behavior. The method can include operating the qubit in the quantum device at the operating parameter value.
