    Abstract: This disclosure relates to deep trench capacitors embedded in a package substrate on which an integrated circuit is mounted. In some aspects, a chip package includes an integrated circuit die that has a power distribution circuit for one or more circuits of the integrated circuit. The chip package also includes a substrate different from the integrated circuit and having a first surface on which the integrated circuit die is mounted and a second surface opposite the first surface. The substrate includes one or more cavities formed in at least one of the first surface or the second surface. The chip package also includes one or more deep trench capacitors disposed in at least one of the one or more cavities. Each deep trench capacitor is connected to the power distribution circuit by conductors.

The method includes spatially segmenting the video image into two or more segments, including a demonstration object preview (DOP) segment that encompasses the defined area with the demonstration object and at least one second segment encompassing a remaining portion of the video image. The method includes presenting a preview of the video image on the display device with the remaining portion of the video image mirrored within the preview and at least the DOP segment presented without mirroring in a correct spatial location relative to the remaining portion of the video image. A person presenting the demonstration object receives a non-mirrored presentation preview of the demonstration object.

The electronic components are connected electrically in parallel with the grid lines.

Circuitry on the storage drive tracks storage location release metadata for addressable memory space, optionally providing to a host system information upon which maintenance decisions or related scheduling can be based. The storage drive can also provide buffering support for accommodating receipt of out-of-order writes and unentanglement and performance of out of order writes, with buffering resources being configurable according to any one of a number of parameters. The disclosed storage drive facilitates reduced error rates and lower request traffic in a manner consistent with newer memory standards that mandate that writes to logical addresses be sequential.
