Patent number: 12268308Abstract: Chairs are provided as frames and fabric coverings that operate together as an integrated system so that the chairs have the appearance of being permanently upholstered even while the fabric coverings can be easily detached and re-attached, such as for washing or replacement. The fabric coverings attached using a variety of attachment mechanisms including zippers, flexible loops and grooved wheels, and snap-in buttons. The detachability of the fabric coverings of the chairs allows them to be washed as frequently as desired by a consumer, using consumer washing machines, rather than requiring expensive cleaning by a specialty upholstery cleaner. These covers also allow for changing the pattern, color, and texture of the chair as frequently as the consumer desires, at a cost that is a fraction of the price of a new chair or reupholstering a chair.Type: GrantFiled: November 12, 2021Date of Patent: April 8, 2025Assignee: Ruggable LLCInventors: Jayson Yagi, Max Sieck, Robert Westphal Vera, William Stanhope St. Amant

Patent number: 12271958Abstract: Systems and methods for determining a risk of damage to a crop on a field are described. In an example embodiment, a method for limiting such damage to a crop includes receiving, for multiple hours, weather data identifying temperature values and humidity values for a geographic location of the field, determining, for the multiple hours, that a temperature value is within a first range of values and a humidity value is within a second range of values and, identifying each of the multiple hours as a risk hour for a disease. The method also includes computing a risk value for the field based on the identified risk hours, determining that the risk value is above a threshold, and determining that the crop on the field is at risk for the disease. The method then includes spraying the crop on the field with a damage mitigating chemical specific to the disease.Type: GrantFiled: August 22, 2022Date of Patent: April 8, 2025Assignee: CLIMATE LLCInventors: Patricia Ann Carroll, Holly Janine Dail, Bethany Susan Porter Grabow, Ana Malagon, Jerald Keith Pataky
