Abstract: A playground rocker provides a rigid platform with lateral side edges suspended from side rails extending along the lateral side edges of the rigid platform. The rigid platform is suspended using broad flexible belts extending along substantially full lengths of the lateral side edges of the platform with the upper edges of the belts wrapped around the side rails and lower edges attached or wrapped along the lateral side edges of the platform. The broad flexible belts allow the rigid platform to sway side to side in a direction generally perpendicular to the side rails.

Abstract: A spacecraft has a flat antenna array having an edge and a middle portion. A reconfigurable reaction-momentum wheel is coupled to the antenna array to roll and/or pitch the antenna array in small magnitudes. The reconfigurable reaction-momentum has a reaction operating state or mode (high-torque, low momentum) and a momentum operating state or mode (low-torque, high momentum). A thruster is coupled to the antenna array to move the antenna array.

Abstract: A cable reel of the present disclosure can include two flanges and a central drum being independently rotatable from one another. The drum, which can be configured to receive a cable, can be mounted on an axle. The two flanges can be rotationally mounted on the axle at opposing distal ends of the axle. Bearings in the flanges can allow for a full rotation of the flanges about the axle. The cable reel can also include a locking pin for locking rotation of a flange with rotation of the drum.

Abstract: A video decoder is provided for the decoding of a video bitstream encoded in a temporal interpolated prediction (TIP) mode. First and second motion vectors pointing to respective reference frames, or reference pictures within those frames, are generated for a block of a current picture. The motion vectors are then refined by application of a decoder-side motion vector refinement (DMVR) process, based on a bilateral matching process, and the refined motion vectors are used to decode the block. The refinement may more specifically involve consideration of candidates for the refined motion vectors, selected by the bilateral matching. The refinement may be applied at both block and sub-block divisions of the current picture.

Abstract: An aspect of the present disclosure is directed to a connector. The connector is suited to connectorizing exactly two conductors. The connector includes a forward connector body, a rear connector body, a metal frame and exactly two electrical contacts. The rear connector body interfaces with the forward connector body. Further, the metal frame, which includes a shielding interface, surrounds at least a portion of both the forward and rear connector bodies. The electrical contacts extend from the rear connector body into the forward connector body. A first of the electrical contacts is electrically coupled to a first conductor of a shielded cable and the second of the electrical contacts is electrically coupled to a second conductor of the shielded cable. The shield interface of the metal frame is electrically coupled to the shield of the shielded cable.

Abstract: A tamper evidence closure assembly is provided for engaging with a finish of a container for sealing contents within an interior of a container. The assembly includes a finish and a tamper evidence closure configured to threadably engage with the finish. The finish comprises a cylindrical portion of the container that begins at an opening to the interior of the container and extends to and includes a support ledge. Threads are configured to engage with the finish. The tamper evidence closure includes a tamper evidence band that is attached to closure by way of a multiplicity of thin connections. The tamper evidence band includes a cam configured to engage with the finish during removal of the tamper evidence closure. The cam causes the thin connections to break such that the tamper evidence band remains disposed on the finish after removal of the tamper evidence closure.

Abstract: A linear electrical machine comprising a frame with a level reference plane and an array of electromagnets, connected to the frame to form a drive plane at a predetermined height relative to the reference plane.
