Abstract: Risers for use in a riser assembly to provide access to below-grade chambers or vaults are provided. Risers may include an angled wall connecting a first end and a second end spaced apart along a central lengthwise axis. In an embodiment, the riser may include a plurality of latches spaced around the first end and the second end with radially extending lips and canted terminal end surfaces. A plurality of receivers may be spaced between the first plurality of latches on the first end and the second end. Alternatively, plurality of latches may include a first and second latch body extending to a terminal end that comprises a first circumferentially extending lip and a first canted terminal end surface. Risers may be configured to connect to other risers to form a riser assembly.

Abstract: An occlusion device includes a braided mesh body and at least one pinch member. The braided mesh body comprises plural strands each having a first end portion and a second end portion. The plural strands fold over to bring the second end portions of the plural strands adjacent to the first end portions of the plural strands forming a double-layer of the braided mesh body. In an example occlusion device, at least one of the plural strands is radiopaque, and the at least one pinch member is non-radiopaque.

Abstract: A system for healthcare resource scheduling is configured to calculate differential demand for a type of healthcare resource; based on the differential demand for the type of healthcare resource, determine, via an optimization engine, a suggested resource assignment; cause an operator device to display a user interface that displays a visual representation of the differential demand for the type of healthcare resource and a visual representation of the suggested resource assignment, wherein the visual representation of the suggested resource assignment is selectable by an operator of the operator device; receive, from the operator device, an operator selection comprising a selection of the suggested resource assignment in the user interface; and transmit an assignment notification to a computing device associated with a particular available resource of the type of healthcare resource.

Abstract: The present invention provides writing compositions that are capable of being erased or changed in color chemically. The present invention also provides erasing media for erasing or changing the color of marks produced with the writing compositions, as well as writing systems and incorporating the erasing media and the writing compositions. The present invention further provides writing instruments produced using the writing compositions.

Abstract: Example methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to facilitate meter to meter matching for media identification. Example apparatus disclosed herein include an unknown signature comparer, a stack counter, and a reference database updater. The unknown signature comparer is to select a candidate unknown signature segment meeting a threshold length from a set of unknown signature segments collected at a first audience measurement location, and compare individual signatures of the candidate unknown signature segment with a collection of unknown signature segments collected at a second audience measurement location. The stack counter is to count a number of times that the candidate unknown signature segment matches unknown signature segments in the collection, and identify the candidate unknown signature segment as a matched signature segment when the number of times meets a counter threshold.

Abstract: A traffic collision avoidance system (TCAS) device Configured to reduce or prevent the infiltration of water and other environmental contaminants into the interior of the TCAS device. The device having a radome attached to the ground plane so that the interior surface of the radome and the inner surface of the ground plane form an inner chamber. The inner surface of the ground plane has a PCB channel wall defining a center well facing the inner chamber and configured to receive a printed circuit board (PCB).

Abstract: Described herein is a method of administering injectable cetirizine or levocetirizine to treat acute urticaria, with or without concomitant angioedema, without life-threatening airway swelling by intravenously injecting a human patient within minutes to hours of developing acute urticaria in an emergency department or clinic with a therapeutically effective amount of an injectable cetirizine or levocetirizine composition. In the method, the injectable cetirizine or levocetirizine is the only treatment administered in the emergency department or clinic. The method can include determining, by the patient, a patient rated pruritus severity score at a 1 hour assessment, and optionally at a 2 hours assessment, and a physician discharging the human patient after 1.7±0.9 hours in the emergency department or clinic, wherein the human patient has a patient rated pruritus severity score reduction of at least 1 unit and baseline sedation at the time of discharge.

Abstract: This invention provides compositions and methods to prevent aberrant cell proliferation in a subject using a single-domain antibody (sdAb) directed against an intracellular component, wherein the aberrant cell proliferation can be cancer. The sdAb is synergistic with one or more chemotherapeutic drugs and improves therapeutic efficacy of the one or more chemotherapeutic drug against cancer.

Abstract: A component inspection system and method generate a 3D model based on a point cloud and images of an automotive component captured by an imaging system. It is determined whether an anomaly is present based on artificial intelligence driven training and learning. Upon anomaly detection, a type of anomaly is identified and classified. From the 3D model, a type of the automotive component can be identified. The identification of the automotive component and the anomaly detection involve a controller subject to artificial intelligence driven training and learning. The controller determines presence of anomaly and a location of anomaly if any.

Abstract: An apparatus for the automated filling of cartridges of e-vapor devices may include a filling drum configured to receive at least one cartridge of an e-vapor device. The apparatus may additionally include a needle assembly including at least one hypodermic needle. The needle assembly is configured to transition between a lowered state and a raised state. The lowered state is where the hypodermic needle is moved down into the cartridge, while the raised state is where the hypodermic needle is lifted up and away from the cartridge. The apparatus may further include a pump assembly configured to pump a pre-vapor formulation into the cartridge when the needle assembly is in the lowered state. The pump assembly may include a variable amplitude cam system configured to adjust an amount of the pre-vapor formulation for pumping to the cartridge without changing start and stop times for the pumping.

Abstract: Described herein are embodiments of systems, apparatuses, and methods that include an improved packer bypass assembly. The packer bypass assembly includes a first end and a second end, where a primary bore extends between the first and second end. The packer bypass assembly further includes a bypass bore through which flow may travel separate from that in the primary bore. The bypass bore may include a check valve that only permits flow in one direction. By providing two flow bores that support flow in opposite directions in the same packer bypass assembly, gas injected into an annulus between the casing and the packer bypass assembly can “bypass” the packer assembly and travel to an injection valve situated in the well below the packer.

Abstract: A lifting system utilizing a lifting apparatus for lifting a floor (e.g., a concrete slab) using the lifting apparatus to support a floor from under the floor during lifting. The lifting apparatus may have a first portion (e.g., an extension member and saddle) installed under a slab. Piers are driven into the ground through the first portion of the lifting apparatus. Thereafter, a second portion of the lifting apparatus is operatively coupled to the to the first portion and the uppermost pier. A lifting device (e.g., hydraulic ram) is operatively coupled to the lifting apparatus and/or the pier and is used to lift the slab.

The wireless device determines, for a preamble transmission, a preamble transmission occasion of the preamble transmission occasions. The preamble transmission occasion is associated with an SS-PBCH block selected from the SS-PBCH blocks. The wireless device starts the RAR window from a starting time based on the preamble transmission occasion, the first time offset, and a second time offset. The wireless device receives, during the RAR window, an RAR of the preamble transmission.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving, over a communication network, a first message utilizing a first messaging application from a first communication device associated with a first user and identifying a recipient of the first message as a second user associated with a second communication device. Further embodiments can include determining that the second user utilizes a second message application to exchange a first group of messages via the second communication device resulting in a first determination, and transmitting, over the communication network, the first message to the second communication device utilizing the second messaging application based on the first determination. Abstract: A method and system for remotely monitoring intoxication of a user, comprising: prompting the user to provide a breath sample at a time point; at a breath sample acquisition device, generating a breath sample signal upon reception of the breath sample from the user, and broadcasting a unique signature proximal in time to the time point; using a sensor of a mobile computing device, generating an authentication signal derived from detection of the unique signature; at a processing system in communication with the mobile computing device and the sample acquisition device, receiving the breath sample signal and the authentication signal; generating a verification assessment that validates provision of the breath sample by the user; determining a value of an intoxication metric for the user based upon the breath sample signal; and transforming the verification assessment and the value of the intoxication metric into an analysis of intoxication of the user.

Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and articles of manufacture for a coated fiber modified by actinic radiation to increase back-scattering, which experiences very little back-scattering decay at a temperature and time of exposure that is sufficient to noticeably degrade the coating and/or noticeably degrade the optical fiber due to outgassing of hydrogen from the coating. In one embodiment, an optical fiber comprises a fiber length, a coating having a treated coating weight, wherein the treated coating weight is at least 25% less of an original coating weight prior to an annealing treatment, and an optical back-scatter along the fiber length greater than a Rayleigh back-scattering over the fiber length, wherein the optical back-scatter does not decrease along the fiber length by more than 3 dB after exposure to annealing treatment.
