  • Publication number: 20240163186
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for routing event data from cloud-based sources to various service providers without using a permanently dedicated server (or similar solution). The solution disclosed herein is source agnostic, meaning that the data being received can be from any provider of cloud-based data, with the data received being in a format specific to the given provider. The system can normalize the data from the respective sources into a common format based on properties on the data and, based on the normalized data, identify what type of analysis, process, or other service should be executed on data received. The system can then forward the data to respective service providers for the execution of those services.

Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure provide a message relay service. The message relay service provides an application programming interface (API) with which messages can be sent and received without handling specific implementation details of a messaging system. When inbound messages are received, the message relay service may provide a push notification and/or may store the message for later access. In examples, one or more source addresses are used to send messages. If the client device indicates a group of addresses should be used, one address is selected from the group and used to send a message accordingly. In some examples, the message relay service determines that a messaging gateway need not be used to message a recipient address, and transmits the message without use of the messaging gateway. The same API may be used to send and receive messages across different messaging systems without a customer handling system-specific complexities.

Abstract: A split volute for a centrifugal pump is disclosed that provides a manufacturing advantage by improving the yield of high-chrome iron casting, providing for full surface coating capability using line-of-sight spray coating systems. Performance improvements include improved pump efficiency, abrasion resistance, and volute lifetime. Additional operational cost savings are enabled through reduced time required for common volute maintenance procedures and an increased replacement interval for the volute. Taken together, these advantages reduce the total cost of ownership of the split volute pump system.

  • Publication number: 20240160748
Abstract: A technology to identify processing paths of untrusted input data received by applications that are vulnerable to attacks and to further detect and prevent actual attacks that try to exploit those vulnerabilities is disclosed. Application code is augmented at run-time with sensor code which detects the entry of input-data into the application and further traces the propagation, manipulation and, sanitization of this input-data until its usage in a data sink. The so generated data-flow traces reveal data-flow paths that lack required sanitization measures to neutralize potentially harmful input-data. Such data-flow paths are reported as vulnerabilities. Further, input-data that reaches data-sink interfaces is scanned by data-sink sensors to identify harmful input data. On identification of harmful input data, an attack is reported, and countermeasures are applied to prevent the identified attack.
