Abstract: A method includes generating a predictive model mapping batch size to estimated memory utilization based on a plurality of prior batch sizes applied for performing a corresponding plurality of prior data format conversions, and further based on a plurality of prior actual memory utilization occurring in performing the corresponding plurality of prior data format conversions. A next batch size is automatically selected for performance of a subsequent data format conversion based on the predictive model and a current memory availability. A batch of data for performance of the subsequent data format conversion is identified based on the batch of data having the next batch size. The subsequent data format conversion is performed the batch of data, and an actual amount of memory utilized in performing the subsequent data format conversion is determined. The predictive model is updated based on the next batch size and the actual amount of memory utilized.

Abstract: In one aspect, a computer implemented method for providing rapid access to product information on a mobile computing device is disclosed. The method includes provisioning an online platform and associating a database repository. Next, the method generates a visual code and identifies the visual code to a domain name. Then the visual code is populated with information, such as product information, wherein the product information is associated to the visual code that is further linked to the data repository and online platform. The association allows for multiple file types and acquisition from web scraping. Further, the online platform allows for editing content behind the domains and generating further subdomains that further link to the original visual code. Thereby providing, in one aspect, a quick information portal through the use of visual codes and data structuring.
Abstract: Described in detail herein is a nested blockchain system. The nested blockchain system can include distributed nodes in a network. A node is configured to generate a master cryptographically verifiable distributed ledger represented by a sequence of blocks. The node spawns a first sub cryptographically verifiable ledger represented by a first genesis block containing a hash value referencing the first block generated in the master cryptographically verifiable ledger, in response to a first event. The node purges the first sub cryptographically verifiable ledger, in response to a second event.

The flexible heat spreader attachment includes a base plate, a heat spreader attached to the base plate, and four adjustable arms attached to the base plate, wherein each of the adjustable arms include circuit board hooks configured to attach to the periphery of a circuit board and maintain the heat spreader at a desired location on, and spaced from, the circuit board.
Abstract: A method for training a pattern recognizer to identify regions of interest in unstained images of tissue samples is provided. Pairs of images of tissue samples are obtained, each pair including an unstained image of a given tissue sample and a stained image of the given tissue sample. An annotation (e.g., drawing operation) is then performed on the stained image to indicate a region of interest. The annotation information, in the form of a mask surrounding the region of interest, is then applied to the corresponding unstained image. The unstained image and mask are then supplied to train a pattern recognizer. The trained pattern recognizer can then be used to identify regions of interest within novel unstained images.
Abstract: A modular arrangement is provided for housing electronic equipment and associated cooling structure in a data center environment. The modular units provide cooling air on an as-needed basis to individual pieces of equipment by way of individual plenums and associated valves. The units can be interconnected by vertical stacking, in side-to-side arrangements, and back-to-back arrangements. A number of units can be interconnected to form a cell. The cells can be interconnected to form larger units. In this manner, data centers can be configured in any desired arrangement without requiring complicated cooling design.
