Abstract: A data processing system implements receiving a far-end signal associated with a first computing device participating in an online communication session and receiving a near-end signal associated with a second computing device participating in the online communication session. The near-end signal includes speech of a target speaker, a first interfering speaker, and an echo signal. The system further implements providing the far-end signal, the near-end signal, and an indication of the target speaker as an input to a machine learning model. The machine learning model trained to analyze the far-end signal and the near-end signal to perform personalized noise suppression (PNS) to remove speech from one or more interfering speakers and acoustic echo cancellation (AEC) to remove echoes. The model is trained to output an audio signal comprising speech of the target speaker. The system obtains the audio signal comprising the speech of the target speaker from the model.

Abstract: In one aspect, embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a process for manufacturing a side pocket mandrel that involves welding upper and lower swages to a central body of the side pocket mandrel. In some embodiments, the process includes the steps of providing a first side of the welded joint and a second side of the welded joint, where the first and second sides are either the central body or the swage. The process continues with the step of approximating the first and second sides such that the first and second sides are in contact. Importantly, the first and second sides are brought together without creating a root gap between the first and second sides. Next, the first and second sides are welded together to form the welded joint between the swage and the central body.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure include methods and apparatuses for video coding. One of the apparatuses includes processing circuitry that receives a current block in a bitstream. The current block is predicted with intra prediction fusion comprising multiple candidate intra prediction modes. The processing circuitry derives a dominant intra prediction mode from the multiple candidate intra prediction modes. The processing circuitry applies a transform from a transform set associated with the dominant intra prediction mode for the current block and decodes the current block according to the transform.

The grouping of a respective vertex in a respective group may be based on a topological distance of the respective vertex. Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for creating and updating vehicle listings using crowdsourced images. An exemplary embodiment of the disclosed systems and methods includes at least one processor and at least one non-transitory computer-readable medium containing instructions. The instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to perform operations. The operations include communicating with a listing system to create a listing for a vehicle and receiving, from an identification application executing on a mobile device distinct from the listing system, an identifier for the vehicle and an image of the vehicle. The operations further include identifying the listing using the received identifier, determining one or more parameters associated with an image quality for the received image, and updating the listing for the vehicle to include the received image based on the determined one or more parameters for the received image.

Abstract: A method is provided for streaming transcoded HLS video from a video asset to allow a minimum startup delay time. A method includes pre-transcoding a first number of the HLS chunks. Then, once a request is received from a remote HLS client for the HLS video asset, transmitting a number of the pre-transcoded chunks to the remote HLS player. The pre-transcoded chunks are transmitted during a startup period until real-time transcoded chunks can be received and processed by the remote HLS player at a time position to allow seamless transition from the pre-transcoded chunks.

Abstract: A reflexive training apparatus for mixed martial arts training. The training apparatus includes limbs with joints that simulate actual human joints and also simulate how a human joint would respond to different pressures, bars, locks, holds, breaks, and hyperextensions. In addition, the training apparatus is configured to go into several guard positions and to respond to a user's actions in a manner similar to how a real opponent would respond during a grappling session. In some embodiments, the training apparatus comprises a composite of materials that make the training apparatus sturdy enough to simulate the weight and feel of an actual person.

The touch screen is configured to receive a user input. The touch screen is physically mounted directly on either side of a steering wheel of the vehicle. The CAN microcontroller is configured to communicate with a CAN bus of the vehicle. The ECA includes processing circuitry configured to obtain a user input from the touch screen and provide a control signal to the CAN microcontroller and the CAN bus of the vehicle to perform a requested vehicle function according to the user input. The touch screen and the ECA are retrofit on the vehicle and the ECA is configured to intersect, suppress, modify, or reproduce communications on the CAN bus of the vehicle.

Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to automatically generate an interactive display for event scheduling based on a maximum expected wait time at a user selected trigger time. In an illustrative example a central orchestration engine (COE) may generate, in response to a request for service with a maximum wait tolerance (MOT) from a service seeking entity (SSE), a display of available time slots for the requested service. The COE may, for example, generate an array of service providers (SPs) as a function of a geofence filter. For each SP, the COE may generate an expected wait time (EWT) based on an anticipated service flow at the SP. The COE may, for example, select and display available time slots of the SPs with the EWT less than the MOT. Various embodiments may, for example, advantageously present an interactive display of available time slots at one or more SPs for selection.
